Hi guys, my current set up is u mobile zte 190 with this router but having problem of delaying send in & out email and file such as .pdf and .doc download with remark " file corrupted". I have no problem when using unifi but u mobile always give such problem. Anyone know what is the root cause ? Can YES DoGgle support this router ? Thanks for reply in advance.

U cant compare Wireless to Cable internet icon_idea.gif

YES GO dongle will not be supported cause YES needs you to keyin the ID and Passcode, and YES nature is an extension of WiFi ( called wimax) whereas 3G modem is 3G tech..........remember this infamous phrase " it looks like me and sounds like me, BUT its not me" biggrin.gif

meanwhile, keyin this in your browser helps 192.168.1.1 , user id = admin , passcode = admin

theoretically, YES GO dongle will work as long as the drivers and appropriate dialer are installed. There is already a Linux driver for it which comes with a GUI for you to connect, if I'm not mistaken, it's done by a fellow Malaysian. rclxms.gif
For this router's case, it will be supported with OpenWRT firmware in the near future as development works are in progress using gctwimax drivers that someone reverse-engineered from the Windows drivers. Fingers crossed and we will be able to turn this little wonder to a YES 4G router. brows.gif

On a side note, the router already have a support for WiMax devices based on Samsung CMC-730 chip using madwimax drivers. For more info, a quick search on Google will give you plenty results.

that's what I'm looking forward to as well. If it works well, I can even use it on MR3020 mobile router with OpenWRT. Any Linux gurus willing to help speed up the process? I'm so a lot of people will be grateful. notworthy.gif

I'm afraid the second step is not possible for OpenWRT as the GUI dialer is meant for normal Linux distribution such as Ubuntu and such.

You're right about first step on getting OpenWRT loaded. Next, we'll need to install gctwimax drivers and have a dialer installed. I'm a noob in Linux, so I don't know how to do that. tongue.gif

What I'm planning to do is to wait for the development to complete on gctwimax and be included into OpenWRT packages just like for madwimax which already included. Not sure it will take how long, fingers crossed again... biggrin.gif

Yup, I'm using Zoom now and I've sold my Huddle within 2 weeks after I posted the sale thread. So, I'm not rushing to have Yes GO dongle support in MR3420. I'm more looking forward to use it on MR3020 portable router. drool.gif

Very weird. Using laptop thru TP 3420 ping is much lower than if using Ipad... sad.gif. Ipad is around 150 ~ 280. But laptop ping is around 40~80. Check many times also the same. Just now try to change to b/g from b/g/n, speed is more stable and constant. Right now stick to this b/g mode. Channel wise let it to Auto mode since my Streamyx is fixed at Channel 11.

Speed so far is ok now but night time very bad. Only 1 M and upload is worst 0.03M sad.gif
