By the way, how to do disconnect my connection and reconnect it again without rebooting the whole router? smile.gif

from Chuah's instructions until the Network step, just click this Connect button on the WAN interface and it will disconnect and reconnect automatically.

Yes

Explanation below

Stock OpenWRT come with no 3G module

Therfore you need an internet connection to install those 3G modules

No worries, there is a guide on first post for reverse tethering to your Modem smile.gif

u need 2 thing :

- Lan cable ( with or without any network connection )
- usb modem ( if your lan cable have network connection, then u dont need this )

download 2 file:

- openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-mr3420-v1-squashfs-factory.bin ( openwrt firmware bin file )
- Putty ( downlod & run, dont need to install )

if u are flashing using Lan cable come with connection
refer video -> How to flash open wrt with extra Lan cable connection ( on first post )

if u are flashing using 3G modem alone + lan cable without any networking connection
refer video -> How to flash openwrt with 3G connection by sharing it via lan cable to router ( on first post )

if u have 3G modem alone,

then u need to share your 3G modem connection in computer Via lan to mr3420 ( lan cable plug in computer & mr3420 yellow port )

then u can flash openwrt and also update the packages component notworthy.gif
