I'm not sure if having a replacement casing will fix that problem but for mine, if I cover the top part of the phone. The earphone area, the wifi signal does drop significantly, and even disconnect at times.

May be a casing flaw, as some people got their casing change and no longer face the network down issue. (I don't have time to claim warranty till now)

hmm how do we tell them to change the casing ?

I notice for my WIFI, my nokia can scan over 15 wifi available, but my Sensation can scan only 3 available without my hand blocking the antenna

can anyone who has rooted n flash custome rom help me out ? do u guys know which radio is best for us ? im using digi btw, keep getting low signal..currently using arhd and 10.58.9035.00u_10.15.9035.02_2..which is recomended by arhd but, just wanna know maybe u guys get better signal with otrher radios

Is there noticeable performance difference between the sensation and the sensation xe? Thinking of getting either the xe or the droid razr, but want to know how much different is it the xe from sensation. Im not too big on the dre's as i have seinheisers so it makes no difference to me.

You know anyone who after claiming warranty then the problem gone? What did they change?

The replacement casing is by HTC or aftermarket?

Bad workmanship?

Complain about the drop in wifi signal and say got network drop as well. Complain as many things as you can.
Mine is even worse. The casing got physical defects.


Forummer here claimed warranty and they said the network death grip is gone.
HTC changed the casing. It's by HTC.

Hmm if I complain so and sent back to HTC, do i need to revert to stock rom and S-ON ??
I guess they will check that right ?

how come the owner list of XE so few...this phone no so popular in malaysia or what...may i ask is this phone the best performance in sound so far since its using dr dre

not much differences between sensation and sensation xe apart from the beats audio enhancer and beats headset. personally tried beats enhancer on my sensation but performance isnt really significant. the beats headset is just a marketing gimmick in my opinion.

there's couple of sensation xe users reporting in lately. the beats audio and headset isnt doing magic by providing ultimate sound qualities as compared to the stock ones. no offense but dont judge the performance with the additional branding / artist

yes there is... 1.5ghz is very smooth but you can S-Off n root the sensation n over clock it to 1.5ghz..
as for battery, definitely XE better bcoz capacity also larger....

simply get the normal sensation, install custom rom and beats mod (if you want). i have sennheisers too, installing volume+ fix the sound quality.
