Look in /system/apps. Samsung keyboard is AxT9IME.apk, swype is swype.apk and i think gingerbread keyboard like those on cm7 is LatinIME.apk.

You will lose your license copy if you install beta swype. Not really a big issue if you use custom rom as you can just put back the apk. tongue.gif

Edit: I think you will have to uninstall license copy before you can install the new beta if i remember correctly.

i need help guys. i tried to install cm7. then the phone got stuck at the boot screen. and i forgot to back up. what do i do now? i tried to flash cm7 two times. din work. when i try to flash again i get status 7 error.

p/s i dont have external physical sd card. i used the internal storage

First of all, please tell me your model is i9100 and not i9100g. Easy way out, go download ori firmware and flash using odin in download mode.

non g. i9100. ok. but when i try to flash custom kernel using odin nothing happen. i used heimdall to flash the kernel in the end. downloading now stock firmware.

Always do nandroid backup before flashing something. It is a good practice and can save your ass alot of times. I have at least 3 - 4 nandroid backup in my internal sd card in case something goes wrong as i frequently flash stuff.

beta is beta ma... means not officially released for actual use.

but as per earlier reply by others... u will actually need to uninstall swype first before you can try out the beta.

i do have vlingo smile.gif but i was just skeptical that i can use vlingo but not speaktoit assistant with the problem i've mentioned. hmmm..

EDIT: haha i googled for google voice apk n installed it manually since cynogenmod removed it. now Speaktoit works! it was powered by google voice search, no wonder i cant get it to work at first. thanks to all anyway smile.gif

Me also same... unable to install cm7...
It will stuck on the Boot screen only... rclxub.gif

So i reflash it to Batista v2.2... tongue.gif
