guys, is it normal to have locking issue when checking in to indoor places? Tried to check in to a cafe just now but the gps wouldn't lock at all. Status light in GPS test only shows yellow but not moving.

Check usb debugging setting.
If not working, try go wireless and network> USB utilities > Connect storage to pc and connect cable.

Your usb port faulty? Or there's really something wrong the device. Btw updating to 2.3.5 will not have that problem.

That is strange ; I have been using Dolphin in all my other Androids too - it never crashes at all
Anyway another of my favorite is XScope - is I'd say the fastest browser I have ever used

never in my whole 4 months of using has dolphin crashed. You use for a very long time or you visit certain websites that is 'heavy'? try install latest dolphin hd or wipe dolphin's data see~

i think i have the latest one coz market doesnt show any update. just used it for half an hour, my phone was not even warm yet. but sometimes few minutes crash already. i use for forum only, not heavy i guess..

xscope is very fast indeed, but closed itself when i tried the video above. uninstalled firefox within 2 mins lol, everthing was below par. i still find scrolling to be smoother on stock browser, but kinda irritating as u cant exit it properly, have to go task manager kill it.

in that case, try wipe data for flash player and adobe air, or go market see got any new updates if still cannot try reinstall it
baseband = modem, manages normal calls, 2g 3g hsdpa but not wifi, nothing much of concern, most basebands are almost the same, advised to update to latest version tho.

Guys for the voice app just now,

hello guys, haven't been around for the past few days. Moving fast as usual i can see biggrin.gif

Anyways, not sure if G set users are aware of this, but i can confirm that pink spot issue still exists, albeit not as bad i would say. I truly hope it's not just my device though cry.gif

The camera firmware update won't work coz it's meant for non g sets i guess.

Read on XDA that it should fit. I just bought the Samsung 2000 battery from Low Yat (guys, just buy it from the Samsung store in the upper levels, RM139 fixed price) and i have an unused Neo Hybrid case at home. Let you know later when i get back. It fits the Ultra Capsule though, which i am using now.
*
Does it fit perfectly or it just fits? If it really fits perfectly i might consider getting one on top of my battery cover which should be arriving in a week time. 2000maH + battery cover = Champion battery life rclxms.gif

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Oct 17 2011, 05:44 PM)
Correction, iP4's issue is green spot. Same shizz as our pink spot thing. I had it back when I had my iP4, my brother still has it. People who don't have it are simply not looking out for it (and are thus blisfully unaware, which is a major illness amongst iDevice users).

It's the AWB part of the cam not really being able to cope with lighting conditions, that's all.

And about JuiceDefender, I actually reccomend using Green Power. JD is process intensive and might sometimes eat as much as it would save, green power runs light.

UNLESS you need the advanced features of JD that is.

And yes, I have bought both (JD Ultimate summore) and I ended up ditching both for Tasker + profiles. Works best for me and saves a helluva lot of battery on standby. BUT tasker is a PITA to configure so I usually just reccomend Green Power.

And lolz, the Samsung exbatt will NOT fit the battery case. If the droidax is similar in design with the Samsung battcase I had (looking at the pics it sure seems so), it can't even take the 0.3mm extra thickness of my BSE skins without the port stressing out and breaking. The battery compartment of the case bulges inwards to fit the curve of of the SGS2 and there lies our problem.

You can try though.
*
I once used the 2x battery free, din't really work so i ditched it. After rooting my phone my battery life was better with tb freezing some bloatwares, will check green power out biggrin.gif

Yea i doubt it would fit perfectly too, since the extra thickness cannot be ignored. Will take to the store to try though, if i have the time.

QUOTE(Joey Christensen @ Oct 17 2011, 05:58 PM)
I learnt something new today...

Milliamp Hour (mAh)

Milliamps Hour (mAh) is important because it's the easiest way to distinguish the strength or capacity of a battery. The higher the mAh, the longer the battery will last. Batteries with different mAh ratings are interchangeable. If your battery is rechargeable then the mAh rating is how long the battery will last per charge.

Milliamps Hour is 1/1000th of a Amp Hour, so a 1000mAh = 1.0Ah

Think of a cars gas tank.  Voltage is how much gas is being used, and mAh is the size of the gas tank.  The bigger the gas tank (mAh) rating the longer the device will run. If your battery is rechargeable, then think of the gas tank as refillable (rechargeable).

Then i guess playing games/surfing will be like revving to >4000rpm and leaving the display on will be like idling the car biggrin.gif

QUOTE(blackrobin @ Oct 17 2011, 06:01 PM)
2x free didnt work most likely due to the rather short interval of 15 minutes.. each 15 minutes da phone has to partially wakeup n connect.. not efficient enuf..
i downloaded pro(ahem) trying out 30mins.. i dunno if it will coincide with the polling of fb twitter.. lol.. JD like eiraku said.. quite intensive..
*
Try it out and make a short review? Actually i'm not really into battery saver apps, since they all work based on a simple concept which is to take control over your mobile data/ wifi. I prefer leaving it on 24/7 though.

GPS not supposed to work indoor. Heck even Vcool interrupts the GPS. GPS uses sattelite, so u should have a clear view of the sky.

But i see ip4 has no problem in finding the locations, mine won't even show one. Btw, my friend's bold 9900 took the job LOL instead.

Guys, finally charge my phone after 2 days. refer to screen shots attached. just a moderate use of phone call, sms and some internet browsing with data.

not bad for 1650mAH battery i guess. the screen will go to sleep mode and a bit hard to switch on when the battery is low. phone will not hang but the screen will be off for a while. need to wait a minute to on again.

this is my 3rd time charging it after loaded batista foxhound 2.2 + abyss 1.8.1. and the battery life is getting better after each charge and calibrate.

P/S: My phone specs are as shown in my signature

i suppose u only turn on mobile data when needed?
