now i got set cpu and siyah kernel installed. so i got a question on smartassv2 guvnor.

i think i read somewhere that u dont have to create a screen off profile if using smartassv2 bcause it will auto downclock to min cpu when the screen is turned off.
is this true?
i did make a screen off profile and set max to 500 smartass guvnor. there is a noticeable 1 sec lag when i pressed the home button to bring out the lock screen.
i dont like it.

being using KI8 for past few days.. so far so good.. never encounter any auto reboot as what i had in KI3...

could u explain lil bit on what the hell is ondemandX and other 'x' guvnors. i did google but i didnt find what im looking for.

note battery size will be the same? I find that quite hard to believe... cause major difference between 1650 and 2500

Anyways, about batteries:

1) For SURE the note batt is THICKER. It just doesn't look it.

2) The ori samsung 2000mah batt is NOT the same size as our 1650mah batt. It's thicker and needs a new cover.

3) IMHO, batt tech is largely dead now, not much percentage per square inch development in AGES. Waiting for the next big thing after li-po.

4) If you disassemble a battery (I did, got bored and tore open my Spider-Foot), you'll see that at least for some batts, the cell is NOT the size of the batt itself, it's considerably smaller, and buffered by foam. I don't know if it's different for ori cells, but that space can be filled with higher cap cells and bigger batts for the same size MIGHT be possible.

i'm using the x-power XWKI8 rom.

right now my Wifi got problem. when i try to disable it, it seems stuck. cannot check the wifi setting anymore. the wifi icon turn from bright color to blur color as if its try to close but can't.

help!
