And one last q you dl apps at where?meego or nokia appstore?and one reason you all choose meego over android
Depends what you're looking for. If apps/games is very important to you, you might want to check what apps/games you want and if it's available in MeeGo.
There's tons on Android, that's one of the main attraction on Android and iOS. Android having the extra features like little restrictions, tons of customizations, etc.
But if you're comparing OS and usage of the OS, MeeGo is still way better as in smoother, fluid/responsive, and the true multi-tasking; The true multi-tasking experience is just so good, app-switching is annoying, very annoying, but then, it depends if you actually appreciate true multi-tasking, for me, yes, it's one of the very important features on an OS, but for some, they don't bother, they're happy with task/app-switching or can't tell the difference.
Plus, on MeeGo, you get true social network integration unlike Android, which is like half-bake or half-half. You still need to install separate IM applications for those integrated social networks.
In the end, if I were to compare, personally, I still very much prefer Maemo over MeeGo due to the the Desktop feature, web browser, full flash support.
Honestly speaking, what Maemo/Meego lacks is mostly the apps/games. If these were to made available similar to Andoird/iOS, it would've make a whole lot of big difference.
Sadly, it most likely won't happen..... for Nokia, it's Windows Phone OS or nothing... even Symbian will be drop in future...
I wouldn't want to force or make/talk someone into choosing MeeGo then later regret their decision when they loose interest and want apps/games, then try to sell it later.
So, make sure you know what you truly want and go for it.One thing, this is probably the only MeeGo device, so if you like it, it's a good opportunity to own and experience one.
For me, personally, I want an OS which gives true mobile computer experience, not some multimedia OS which just can do offer some multimedia capabilities and supports for apps/games.
I own the N900 (Maemo) and never regret it a single bit, I utilize it so much and loving every bit of it, despite the lack of apps/games/supports, low spec hardware, etc;
Now, MeeGo is suffering the same fate on support (altough better than Maemo last time); So, it's still something unique to experience and own. ONLY if you appreciate these things.
