haiseh, its not like spend hundreds on apps. I think i spend less than RM20 on n9 apps. Even if change brand/os to android, still need to buy apps.

To those that had been saying that N9 is that last of its kind so the ecosystem is doomed, yada yada. Well I was totally shocked when I logged into to Nokia Store last night. So many apps added. It's crazy, i had downloaded a few more. I added at least 3 more games, Circus, EvidenceHunter and Urban FatBurner. Now if only ebuddy XMS just release its beta now.

OS is dead doesn't mean anything, people get the wrong conception. Just like people say Flash is dead or going to die, so what, it's not like there will be no more and everything stops. Even if Flash no longer have new version and no longer supported, it doesn't mean all website will suddenly stop using Flash, remove Flash, all your Flash app, swf, etc can no longer work? So, people need to understand about technology vs service.
When a service is stop, then you cannot use anymore, that's the real issue.
OS dead, but people can still use, people can still develop apps for it, etc. Heck, there're still companies using DOS, Win95, Win98. MS release Windows 8, doesn't mean previous version which reach EOL (End Of Life) will stop functioning; I think many people get the wrong understanding. It simply mean they stop supporting it, but you can still continue to use it.

As for MeeGo, it may have no new version, etc. but currently Nokia is still committed to support it; so technically, it's not yet reach OEL, just there may not have any replacement like MeeGo 2.0 and above. People still uses old Android device which cannot update to newer Androids version, it's basically just about the SAME thing, except for erm... apps.

Yes, unfortunately there are some sites giving away paid games for free. This is a bad development because it will effectively kill off game developers' interest. You may save a few ringgit but in future the games may just dry up. I'm sure if you can buy a RM2K phone you can pay RM4 - RM6 for a game and support the developers.

There are more than 220 games listed here, some I believe are not in Ovi store.

that is a good news. He might get back into future development of Maemo/Meego if WP7 is unsuccessful

Is there anyone here that is having the same problem as I do? 3G internet + Wi-fi stop working after 1-2 days. Only a restart would fix it but then it stops working again after 1-2 days

For more details.

Sent to Nokia Care for the 3rd time. Still can't rectify it.

Also. How many apps have you guys installed? On my 4th time seeing them. They said it's because I have too many stuff, which I highly doubt. It doesn't even make sense. It's a phone that supposed to have lots of apps installed.

I roughly only had 10 apps installed.

Are you on PR 1.1 yet? If you are still on PR1.0, update to PR1.1, do a hard reset and see how it goes. I don't think apps are the problem, I have more than 20 apps on my phone.
