You restarted your phone after it switched itself off due low battery? You are not supposed to drain the Li-ion battery completely or it may cause permanent damage.
Nop, I restarted accidentally while testing something. I was helpless with the low battery issue because I was outside when it went off.
This has gotta be the saddest day of my life..... My lovely N9 already got scratch on the screen
Its not obvious and very small, but if u see direct under bright light, can see the small scratch. Very sad woo Im keeping it in a pouch now 24/7, untill I get a screen protector. I have to buy it at any cost!
U put it together with keys or other hard objects? Have you tried wiping it out with some soft cloth e.g. those used to wipe spectacles?
Very unlikely to get scratches unless you have handled it roughly.
This is what I did to get nearly 2.5 days battery life (short of 3 hours).
1) Brightness - set to the minimum. 2) Usage - push email (3 emails), Facebook, Twitter and web surfing (about 30 minutes in total during the 2.5 days). 3) No, I didn't activate power saving mode like what others claim I'm doing. Push email will not work with that. 4) Connected only via WiFi. And I am on 2G mode (but not using mobile data).

did you have live widgets on - FB. Twitter, news feed, etc?
Live feeds and notifications? I think that shouldn't consume too much power (unless on 3G mode). I have those stuffs activated too but no issues with battery.
Yes, fully agree with Andy. A smartphone is meant to be used to the fullest so charge everyday if you have to. If you can get through one working day good enough. No need to set your screen brightness to the minimum just to save battery, just enjoy your beautiful screen.
My work is such where I don't have the convenience to charge as and when I want (most of the time outdoor). So for those who are like me, they have no choice but to save power as much as they can.
That is also why people like me never like latest technology such as iOS and Android no matter how good they are but get settled for device like BlackBerry (it can do what exactly I want).
I also work 'outdoors', normally no convenient table to put at the gadgets . But I still use my phone to max - web surfing & videos with full brightness, no power save. Just dont really need the live feeds & updates, so save battery on that & conserve my 3G data quota.
Anything urgent from work, the old style of calls &sms still faster
The brightness of the display is quite bright (indoor) even when it is set at the lowest.
I use my ipad to watch videos or surf net, so that is probably why I don't use my phones.
Don't use 3G for another reason - my pocket will be burning. It is soooo hot.
There's one type of shot which only only physical button can do - the self shot. Maybe, just maybe, someone may produce an app to map the volume buttons to zoom in/out and the power button to snap.
