By default, both plan have TurboBoost since Max Proc State = 100. I think even Power-Saver plan will have TurboBoost.

Added on December 1, 2011, 10:05 amI just noticed this weird behavior when playing Skyrim. Not sure what caused it.

Just now i load Skyrim without MSI Afterburner running. I noticed the game stuttering and lagging. Usually its smooth.
I run Fraps and it shown 19fps. Le fuuu? I run Gpu-Z and notice the core clock stay@400Mhz.(2D clock)


(Ignore the memory clock, GPU-Z never show it correctly since day 1)

Then i start MSI Afterburner. The framerate increased and core clock show 725mhz. I check Gpu-Z and now it show 725Mhz.



Is this driver problem or game problem? If game problem i would love to add it into Skyrim unofficial bug list which has >500 bugs now.

modded driver is like that. my card is 5650 not 6770. if u installed it will appeared 6000 series if no mistake.

@Acid_RuleZz, the clocks is normal for mine..

acid: while playing any games, gpu-z must close. if u don't, it will make the games shuttering & faced fps dropping drastically.

i tested it b4. during play pes 11 i left the gpu-z & must click the tab sensor if u click other like gc or valid is should be fine. playing games & ur gpu-z showing tab sensor it will cause some delay. u get wat i trying to said?

So, is it normal to turn on afterburner while playing games? I dun turn on mine while playing games...

u can close it msi afterburn but if u wanna look at the temp then leave it. if u got other temp reader then ok.

Thanks. I'm using Open hardware monitor. I think afterburner also useful for in-game screenshots right?
