This is the page i'm at. I tried right clicking on the drivers but there was nothing. If I press next, it will proceed to install the old drivers.
Do this if you want to remove those old drivers from Windows...
- Uninstall the AMD driver from Control Panel like normal, remove everything.
- Reboot and enter Safemode.
- In safemode, open command prompt.
- Type "pnputil -e". It will show a list of windows cached drivers.
- Search for all entries with Class: Display Adapters and Driver Package Provider: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc like image below.

- Open another command prompt window and type "pnputil -d <insert published name of the entry>. If it say it still in use, force it with -f syntax. (pnputil -f -d)
Example: "pnputil -d oem0.inf" or "pnputil -f -d oem0.inf" to force it. - Repeat step 6 until there is no more AMD display driver left. Close command prompt.
- Start DriverSweeper and clean AMD display driver again. Reboot.
- Install latest AMD Display Driver from HP and AMD driver of your choice, u know the drill.
Ps: If somehow u can't enter window after step 8, press F8 after post and select "Enable VGA Mode"
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
Ps2: Ultimately, you can just use ""pnputil -d <insert the driver u want to remove>" in command prompt without -f syntax. It will remove the driver if its not in use/old. No need to reboot/safemode.

Hey there, I've been scouting around for a notebook and I really like the looks of the DV6.
I've read up a bit on the whole muxless OpenGL switching issue, though. Has it been fixed yet?

Yes, you need to use fixed switching in BIOS and manually switch the GPU in Window. Only for 6100/6b00/6c00 series.
