Its all about presentation+audience and the writers' n storytellers of course.. (fukada.. the gundam universe phailed to educate gundam fans about 'war'  ?)IMO, GS and GSD is like a stepping stone for further gundam appreciation. They'll all start as Kira-ish fanboys.. no doubt  , but as time passes by they'll slowly walk into the UC timeline..hopefully. I know this coz ive seen many of my younger brother's friends migrate to the UC timeline fandom after getting supa-high on SEED series. No new series/season for Gundam per se, but a new 3-episode OVA is set to be released soon: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E.73 Stargazer. Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E.73 Stargazer is most likely a side story of de GS series... basically it talks about some hidden characters which r nvr shown in GS itself... dey'll reveal how kira got saved after de blast from aegis... where he killed nicole and ended up fighting athrun 1 on 1... but there's more 2 come... can't wait 4 dat OVA... |

Anyway putting that aside, Yeah i know that was Fukuda goal after all is not really on war and politics instead more on cool mecha, cool fight scenes. As for future gundam series.. Stargazer would most prolly be it. I dunno why but i dont really look foward on anything on seed. |

yes,cool mecha battle scenes is appealing,but without a good storyline.The anime fails too,just look at macross zero.
cool vf-0 fight scenes,but lame storyline=failed gsdfan is a symbol of typical youths nowadays.Lots of talks and little fight scene animes are boring/wisdom crap in their eyes.I once burned a copy of macross:DYRL? and macross plus to my friend,a day later he threw it back to me and said "BORING!".I'm annoyed how some of my friends worship kira by decorating their cellphones with his wallpapers,or stored tons of picturs of him and his gundam in their thumbdrive which i doubt serve any purpose at all.Not to mention the ridiculous amount of wallpapers in their friendster photo album. FFS,go worship someone superior like char aznable! |
