QUOTE(tam_ironcup @ May 22 2006, 04:58 PM) havent dl any of d gundam shows u guys suggested cos of exams, but jus wanna say one thing, the reason gs n gsd is popular with ppl my age, 15-17, is bcos it is the only new gundam show that has come out within our generation, moreover it is in a new timeline, thus, easier to understand, n well, kids these days, jus want actionx10000supermecha fighting + up to date graphics n no philosophical stuff whtsevr(lazy to think ma........) so cant really blame ppl, kids n teens especially for calling gs n gsd as a super cuntet show. aniway, jus my thoughts............................................ lawl..thats explain why most of my friends and i doesnt share the same taste in the UC gundams and macross.hmm, dunno why i wrote it though, kinda off topic |

yes, cool mecha battle scenes is appealing, but without a good storyline. The anime fails too, just look at macross zero.
cool vf-0 fight scenes, but lame storyline=failed gsdfan is a symbol of typical youths nowadays.Lots of talks and little fight scene animes are boring/wisdom crap in their eyes.I once burned a copy of macross:DYRL? and macross plus to my friend,a day later he threw it back to me and said "BORING!".I'm annoyed how some of my friends worship kira by decorating their cellphones with his wallpapers,or stored tons of picturs of him and his gundam in their thumbdrive which i doubt serve any purpose at all.Not to mention the ridiculous amount of wallpapers in their friendster photo album. FFS,go worship someone superior like char aznable! |

how many are there and which one comes first? and is it a summary of the previous zeta series or completely new stuff? do i need to watch the series before moving into this? |

QUOTE(Fodder Soldier @ May 30 2006, 09:07 PM) The Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation movies is a trilogy, just like the First Gundam trilogy. And it is a summary of the 1985 series with some new stuff to abridge certain key events together in an uninterrupted flow. ah...i see Comparing this trilogy with the original TV series is very much like comparing Macross: DYRL with its original TV series version, so I assume you know what I mean by that. For beginners, the trilogy version fo Zeta is adequate enough, but purists will definitely go for the original series. But in my opinion, at this moment it's very difficult to find a perfectly-subbed version of the TV series; I found two fansubs so far, and both are still short from perfect in certain parts. Zeta Gundam is a good example of a anime series that could bomb if the translation is not done properly, so right now I'd recommend TV-Nihon's fansub of the Zeta trilogy. so i assume that TV-Nihon's version is perfect? The file size of the original zeta series killed my erection,so i dont think i'm getting it. btw..i could only found two movies available for download ,are they subbing the 3rd one? |

QUOTE(Fodder Soldier @ May 30 2006, 10:19 PM) LOL, you're talking about the 16.63Gb 2xx-subbed version, right? Yeah, pretty hueg. And I think T-N's work on the first two movies were sufficient, given that they're the only group doing the subs for these movies. yep, thats why i hardly download any anime series at all.I prefer ova and movies.I believe they will indeed sub the third one as well, as soon they get the DVD rip. I wish they'd try to sub the TV series version as well. Seems they have the aptitude to work on older anime. I'm happy downloading their subs of those old TransFormer anime... Even stardust memory which is about 3gb was a pain in the ass to download,it took me almost 1 and a half week to download it(i only let it download overnight within the last few percent).Imagine me downloading nartuo or bleach craps,it could be months!! |

good lord, the new zeta movie's OP is way better than the original one.
The original one totally made my hair stood up. Not that i do not appreciate 80s music, but man...it sounds so weird. i believe its done by gack-ke-to? |

currently watching 08th MS team, that show is made of realistic and win.
At first i hesitated to download it,but guess i didnt regret it at all. and it has a nice OP too. and the main characters arent any heroes with super ridiculous power that they could destroy tons of enemy mech all by themselves.Instead they rely on strategies and tactics like sneak attack ,suppress and flank and more. |
