WOW, guys. So happy to hear that so many of you have gotten the Tab 7 Plus already. I have a review unit with me, playing with it and loving it very much.

Samsung unveils Honeycomb-running Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

Today Samsung introduced another member to its lineup of Android-powered tablets. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus runs on the Android 3.2 Honeycomb and packs the Exynos chipset with a 1.2 GHz CPU under the hood.

The slate's 7" PLS LCD has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has two onboard cameras - a 3 MP main shooter at the back that also does 720p video and a 2 MP front-facing snapper for video-chatting.
   
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support (yeah, it has telephony!) and tri-band 3G with 21 Mbps HSPA. The tablet, which will come in 16GB and 32GB flavors (both packing a microSD card slot), comes with dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth radios.

The Android 3.2 Honeycomb platform has been spiced up with Samsung's home-backed TouchWiz UI on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. The included 1GB of RAM makes sure that Honeycomb will be able to fulfill its great multi-tasking potential.

Coming with a decently sized 4,000 mAh battery the droid measures 193.65 x 122.37 x 9.96 mm and weighs just 345g.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will be available in Indonesia and Austria from end-October with worldwide availability to follow shortly after that. No pricing info has been revealed so far.

samsung should focus on making a better tab and phone for designated markets (e.g mid range and high end) that can really beat the i devices, instead they r now machine gunning the market with EVERY conceivable size of gadgets.  they will eventually fail big time like this.  Choices are good, but too much choices will just confuse consumers and they'll just give up choosing and instead choose the ONLY ONE phone or tab that apple offers

my opinion is 7+ not worth to buy if the price diff is only 200, then i will go for tab 7.7. if price diff more then 3-400 then i go for tab 7+ will do... haha. cause i need to buy before end of Nov, so will just tak either 1 that already in the market.

heavy internet
movie time in the car for my kid
sdcard is a must
smooth

Not yet .... but the 7.0 plus is already appeared in the Samsung volume 8 mobile News @ RM1699. Looks like the launching date is close....

as for 7.7, slow slow wait....

Just want to check any one have this problem too..just got mine unit last night and have this strange marks..izzit normal or should i send for warranty?

I’ve a strange problem with the screen of my Note, I noticed this when switching off the phone in a complete dark room. The screen turns dark grey for a split second before switching off, this is when I noticed some strange black marks beneath the screen.

I made a jpeg to replicate this problem (1st attachment), along with a screen capture of the marks (2nd attachment). Can somebody please download the picture and check to see if there are any marks on their phone?

You need to be in a complete dark room for this to work, it helps if you turn the screen brightness to 100% and allow a bit of time for your eyes to adjust to the dark.

I also added roughly what the marks look like.
