QUOTE(ashwin1234 @ Oct 3 2011, 10:53 PM) , Either way, we are talking about pushing pixels to the screen, which will be both the CPU and GPU's job...they probably upraded the CPU to handle the bigger screen but they will escape with a weak GPU for a resolution like that because it will be running our usual games, not having any more pixels Why pixel got anything to do with games? GPU yes but pixel no. I'm sure Nexus Prime will not be using ARM Mali-400 QUOTE(heavy rain @ Oct 3 2011, 10:59 PM) why u ask me using a outdated ipong or 3310? u wanna start a fight with me? Chill down bro. I'm sure you'll be using either Note or Prime soon :-)

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 3 2011, 10:51 PM) Friend., don't get confused between CPU and GPU. The Exynos 4212 for Nexus and Exynos 4210 for SGSII is CPU not GPU. The GPU for SGSII is ARM Mali-400:-P +1 only time will tell us if the sg note & nexus prime will be as smooth. either way SGS3 gonna pwn all of them, oh wait sgs4 gonna pwn sgs3, oh wait =.=

OMG Trolls in here too??
People, please dont feed the troll. The SGS2 is powerful enough as it is. If a Prime has newer and more powerful proc, so what? That's the way tech works. It gets outdated fast.
the Exynos 4212 in the Prime will also get outdated eventually.

I'm sure you'll be using either Note or Prime soon :-) because the screen has bigger resolution and the games will accomodate that resolution thus more pixels thus more GPU/CPU processing power is required to make those pixels. Just like PC games, if you lower the resolution, the performance will be better. Nexus Prime specs out ad? if it's also use the quad core Mali-400, then we can expect more and more games to be support it which means more games for us

Dual Channels if Samsung implemented it. Anyway, none of G owners posted any benchmark here so we can't judge how it performs in statistical benchmark. Maybe you can be the first?

yes it is draining battery. Apparently only G set users are having this problem. I've raised this issue few days ago but no solution yet. Probably will opt to send back for warranty.

It ashwin1234 that make me confused. Nexus will be using more advance CPU an probably more advance GPU to accomodate the higher resolution/more pixel. So why is wrong with that?

Don't be sad.. if you don't flash ROM for now, i9100 or a i9100g have not much different. Just wait for i9100g ROM to come out while you enjoy the phone.
Although proc is different, but in real life usage, it means nothing.
