AOS percentage will went up when idle cz its relative percentage of overall usage.

Android OS percentage will increase if your phone is idle most of the time. The percentage figure is the battery usage, x of (y-z); y = total battery; z = balance left. Here is my usage....

Lol, the value is simply per 100% lar. If your display eats 60%, and you have nothing else running, what do you think will eat the other 40%. Of course whatever is running in the background as part of the OS aka AOS.

More stuff you have running, or the more stuff YOU HAVE RUN during the time you spend unplugged, the less time is allocated to AOS as a result. Example on Bugeca's screenie above.

Want lower AOS values? Use more stuff on your SGS2 lah.

About AOS killing battery life, dun worry, wakelocks are the one responsible for idle battery drain. AOS includes wakelocking processes, but it also includes normal, non WL processes so you can't really take it as an indication of battery drain.

Just get betterbatterystats and watch for wakelocks.

Charge your phone to 100%. After that unplug charger and keep screen on until batt low. Guarantee your screen usage at least 80 - 90% and android process very low. Problem solve.

As explain before, batt draining cannot see from batt usage but usually from wakelocks that prevent your device from sleeping.

u use less, AOS will increase, coz display % decreases.. mine if AOS the top %, no problem for my phone to last more than 1 day..

the display is the one draining most of my battery esp when i do browsing and gaming..

Dial *#0*# Select sensor and then start rolling your phone.

I've send my phone SGS2 to Service Center plaza in Petaling Jaya. It has taken ONE WEEK and they told me they're changing my parts.

I hope the technician DOESN'T change my CHIPSET from
Exynos 4210 SoC CPU and ARM Mali-400 GPU
to
Texas Instruments OMAP4430 CPU and PowerVR SGX540 GPU.

Stucked at boot screen S with yellow triangle.

why my phone sometimes even screen off the range finder light still light on ? how to solve this?

hmm...so far speed i tink no problem la..just think a bit overpaid for a slightly inferior device...anyway, after 1 week of using this phone, i encountered 2 major problems:
1)Data stalling issues...won't work even after i turn off the HSDPA as suggested by other forumers...In my case, i have to reboot everytime to get back data connection. Not working even even turning on and off the flight mode

2) The red light of the proximity sensor...

But today just updated my firmware OTA to 2.3.5. Seems like the data problem is solved(fingers crossed) but the red light still persist. Also, i tink the battery life kinda poor

The Droidax pack? I'm looking into it, but as always there must be sufficient interest (as I don't run an actual business).

5-6 people pm me with interest is enough edi.

Though I'm actually waiting for the Powerskin pack for our SGS2 - I have protective film on my SGS2 (amongst other things lol) and hard packs don't usually fit well due to the film getting in the way (which broke my old Samsung pack). The PS will be silicone/rubber based so it will less of a problem.

I've used 2 of the ones in he list (the Momax and the Samsung Pack) the Samsung Battery Pack ain't worth the price. And you don't have to even import, it's available locally.

The Droidax is better value, especially taking into account it has the all important power button.

So I shall be happy having one

Btw, why do you say that it has many rom to play with? Sorry ah, not so familiar with these.
