It could be hardware problem. Loose connection between batt and phone. If it is still happening after firmware update you should insist they check thoroughly for hardware issue.

Edit: One more thing. If you press the power button > 10s device will shutdown. Maybe in your pocket it is pressing against the power button.

Just upgraded to ki3 from kg1

Straight forward. Just backup your contacts, apps, etc.

However the USB jig seems not to be working in removing the yellow exclamation mark after rooting with this version, but of course there are other ways to remove it

my phone will hang upon playing videos. usually 1st video then okay but playing second video (either its online or offline; even from videos that i took with this phone itself) it'll hang and i have to reboot the phone..

I already set the mobile network to GSM only. Currently I still using older version I9100DXKH1. Probably I should upgrade it then. Thx.

need your help. using a smartphone for the first time in my life, which is samsung SII.

i did not sign up any data plan, jst pure voicecall plan only. I intend to use WIFI to download whatever application/games that I want, hence no data plan. But i'm really worried i accidentally activate the data usage. How do i make sure it's not on? Few questions :-

1) when i put on sim card, i was prompt to select, which to select? :
Celcom
Celcom 2G
Celcom 3G

2) I want to download a gps, e.g. papagold or garmin. where can i download it? which is a better gps system now?

3) where should i disable or be careful on not activating my data? so it wont cost me a bomb?

4) how do i chk what firmware i got?

5) where can i go download androids application? especially those for kids/babies to play?

i wont say so unless i had tested it out. i even went further n freeze jkay theme settings to prevent the glass lockscreen to come out. still, NO SUCH THING. case closed
