And they told me they're changing parts. As far as i know, they just have to reflash. But....the technician told me they're waiting for parts arrival. I'm puzzled

Are you sure yours running on 1.0Ghz..? Both the original SGSII and the 'G' version should be running on 1.2Ghz dual cpu..

That's odd..They should just reflash the original stock firmware only. Why you got stuck on bootscreen.? Wrong flashing and semi-brick your phone or you still on your stock rom when you got that bootscreen.?
Oppss..yellow triangle = insecure kernel = illegal flashing :-)

I believe it was due to wrong Kernel when I try to flash.

Even if wrong flash/semi-brick, hardware are not involved.

I'm excited yet curious as tomorrow I'm going to the Samsung Service to collect it. Will update you guys here on what parts have been 'replaced'

I'm sure the technician will just reflash original stock firmware and won't touch anything inside your phone. Maybe they just want to pull your leg and state their 'unhappiness' that you flash using unofficial way :-)

Try get all your BFF to use Umobile la.. When you top-up RM30 then you can call and chat with them all day for the whole month free of charge ~~lol~~

Your phone also got semi-bricked while flashing and had to wait for a week..??
I'm not saying the techinician is bad. It just seem odd to wait the whole week just to get reflash original stock rom. Surely there must be a reason why he had to wait for a week. Most logical reason i can think of is the technician feel angry or unhappy they had to do extra work due to our careless flashing using unofficial way.. :-)

the reason I change is cos of the free calls. Me and my bf change cos got sick of maxis super saver. Need to wait after midnight to get saving on calls Plus got 100min talk time to any network with the data plan, can't resist

nah...it's because my EFS Folder corrupted T.T and i dun have BACKUP lol...so i send back to them...i have to say SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTER are always full of people...so that means lots and lots of things to repair..

As many people are trying flash..but end up brick it


By the way, just found out that KI series modem is not good for me..Sometimes I need to On/Off Wifi/data in order to get it work..else it just connected but no network..

Can I flash KH3 in KI3 Custom ROM?

technically it is not call as brick lah....just it cannot read ur sim card...others all still functioning..haha KI modem for me no prob..but u can flash a KH3 modem as uncle benny said before mix N match
