It's been 2 days since my iPad 2 have updated to iOS 5.0.1, haven't encounter any wifi loss and battery draining problem. Here's is how i tried, downloading a 1 gig app from AppStore with my 5MBps unifi connected to a tm Dlink router, downloading seems smooth for less than 20 minutes. Using wifi most of the while and the battery drop seems not much differ from my previous 4.3.3. I guess those who have the most problem with the iOS 5.0.1 are only iPhone rather than iPad.

I never heard screen bleeding problem for online buying.

my ipad says "NOT CHARGING" when i put usb on pc but it actually charging ..but i think slower than iphone charging
by installing that asus aicharger it will charge like iphone via usb ?

can i use that ipad charger to charge iphone 4 and use iphone charger to charge ipad ?

Not actually correct, my previous iPad 2 which i bought it from Apple Online Store has screen bleeding problem.

Not sure you guys are aware of this but I would like to share it here for those who unaware of this feature. It works with iOS 4.3.3 but not sure for later FW, "on" your location services and while with your Map App, double tap on the Arrow icon on the status bar and you can calibrate the direction of the position you are facing with your iPad. The Map will show you the correction position even if you move around then.

i have wifi loss problem. sometimes, when i open the apps store, it says that can't connect to apps store. no battery drainage problem. already connected to wifi

I do experience this from time to time too. Don't know if this is the well-knowned bugs of wifi/3G signal loss or not, still in question marks "????"

Could this only happens to a 3G+Wifi models? Mine are just 16GB wifi.

is it worth to get ipad 2 now... or new version is coming out anytime soon?

just get it now bcause if only ipad3 come out nxt year by maybe april? u still need to wait fr authorised seller .. n the stocks.. after 4-6 months only got stock.. i just buy last sunday n the stocks still not much..and knowing apple. i think they just going to upgrade camera and give more speed..ipho e4/ipad1,2 is already considered fast fr me..the difference is like 0.0002 secs, u wont notice it anyway.

My advice as i given to others. IF you already got the budget, then go get it now or never. What's the point of keep on waiting for newer generation when u can only get it 3-4 months after its official launching, considering 3 months fater launching in US, then only will official launch in Malaysia. Yet, u still have to wait for stock and fight the queue. By the time, u would say, "Aww, lifetime left 7 months, better wait for ipad4". When i pad4 launched, same thing happened.. then u would start thinking, ipad5, ipad6...ipadX!! You'll never get one eventually. Hahaha..

Budget is good, you need it now, then GO GET IT. Never too late, never too soon to have one Good luck for waiting ipad7, man~
