Via cable from what source? If from camera you can get yourself a camera connection kit which cost about rm89 and it comes with 2 connector which one is for sd card and another is a USB direct connector from your camera. If you're transferring from a PC, iTunes works well with the transferring.

Not really for most of the accesories, I bought a Targus Stylus from Machine, Mid Valley and the salesperson took out the Stylus right out from a new box and let me try before I make the decision to purchase. When I was at Epicentre ioi Mall for a SwitchEasy Canvas Case, the salesgirl took out the case right from a new box as well and let me fit my iPad 2 into it for testing. As a consumer we have the right to try before making any purchase and I believe you just need to ask.

Did you drop your iPad? How you unlock the iPad, using smart cover function or blindly swipe on the unlock area? Have you tried the soft reset method?

Sounds like your digitizer(screen) have problem, if it's still under warranty period you can send it to the apple service center coz iPad is international warranty.

Of course you can claim for warranty as long it's still within the warranty period, make sure it's not jailbroken. Maybe some connector was loosen or maybe some faulty hardwares, they might be replace you a new unit if they can't troubleshoot the problem.

Jail broken will sure void the warranty but you can download a iOS 5 fw and do a manual FW restoration to ensure it's with an official FW. I believe without any preview on the screen you can managed to restore the FW if you are with a jail broken iPad. Malaysia don't have Apple Store (only online) and you have to send yours to a Apple Service Center where there's 1 in Garden's Mid Valley or VR Tech at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.

Since it's a brand new iPad, it shoudn't comes with any usernameor password. Which part that it prompt you the password, after you connected to your iTunes? Or could it be your iTunes on your PC or Mac have login someone else account before?

Unless it's below iOS 5.0, since iOS 5.0 you can directly power it up without activation from a PC or Mac.

I always thought that the slow loading on YouTube is something to do with the speed of the ISP. When I was with Screamyx 1 Mbps the loading is sometimes fast and some times slow but after changing to Unifi 5Mbps, the loading is extremely fast.

Nope, the jailbreak is not out yet. I don't seems to have a choice, Apple is no longer signing iOS 5.0 so I have to update to 5.0.1.

The USB cable is universal while the plug is different. You can charge though a USB port if your pc comes with a high power USB port and if it don't, just install Asus AIcharger to your PC and your iPad will start charging.

It's been 2 days since my iPad 2 have updated to iOS 5.0.1, haven't encounter any wifi loss and battery draining problem. Here's is how i tried, downloading a 1 gig app from AppStore with my 5MBps unifi connected to a tm Dlink router, downloading seems smooth for less than 20 minutes. Using wifi most of the while and the battery drop seems not much differ from my previous 4.3.3. I guess those who have the most problem with the iOS 5.0.1 are only iPhone rather than iPad.

Not sure you guys are aware of this but I would like to share it here for those who unaware of this feature. It works with iOS 4.3.3 but not sure for later FW, "on" your location services and while with your Map App, double tap on the Arrow icon on the status bar and you can calibrate the direction of the position you are facing with your iPad. The Map will show you the correction position even if you move around then.

Could this only happens to a 3G+Wifi models? Mine are just 16GB wifi.

You can download iBook for free in Appstore for reading .epub and pdf, if you want to able to use one Apps for both pdf and excel file you can but this: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pdf-word-ex...d331933924?mt=8 for just RM3.
