I think my case will be like yours  smile.gif ok, better get 32GB
iPAD2 can play TVB rmvb format ah ?  blink.gif  or u mean other format ? cause I usually watch the rmvb format one  sweat.gif

Not sure wat format is that, but its downlaoded using some free apps, and its not tranferable to PC. Not sure if we can do it via JB, i dun have a JB ipad since it was delivered in iOS5.0~ sad.gif

Now 3G or not 3G ? RM400 different oh  sweat.gif
May be get non-3G, if oversea needed, then only buy MIFI.
Locally, at Home/Work/Cafe can use WIFI.

What do u think ?

I can only share my opinion, hopefully no one flame my ass out.
3G version PROS:
1) u can connected wherever you are with a good 3G broadband,e.g : waiting for someone at the roadside or when get stucked in jam. You can check other discussion thread for the best 3G suitability which we will never discuss here.
2) You get A-GPS chip build in biggrin.gif Its a good thing for traveller.

3G version CONS:
1) JB is harder for ipad2 3G.
2) Without JB, u can't use ur ipad to tethered other device, or use it as a hotspot.

Wifi version PROS:
1) Cheaper and more affordable biggrin.gif
2) Still work the same regardless of the on-the-go online biggrin.gif
3) Can alwis use MiFi devices to replace the on-the-go online style with extra budget biggrin.gif

Wifi version CONS:
1) Not sure if it have JB(regardless of tethered or untethered) at this moment for the latest iOS.
2) Not so convenient for online as you have to bring extra device around to go online(very subjective and depend on owner preference).

Put down my order yesterday. Website says it will be delivered on 30th. Can't wait. Already bought Wacom bamboo stylus and still checking out cases. 64gb wifi. Already using an iPhone. So hotspot is enough for me, no need for 3G. Saving 400 bucks on it

Normally...... will later can JB the 5.0.1 one ?

May I know what is the one biggest reason to JB an iPad2 now ?

To do JB an iPad2, is it difficult & time consuming too ? How if I send to other ppl or shop do it ? How much they charge me ?

Hha.. I thought I mentioned above, for more information on this, u can try to surf on ipadforums.net where they really discuss is in details smile.gif charges are very subjective, depend on your area's market and yes, u can alwis gain more information by google-ing.

Edited:-
My bad, it was mentioned in another thread. Customization is the biggest advantage, and also u're able to download apps which can't be download from apps store. Well, misuse it would lead to piracy, u wanna become a pirate???

Definitely you can, update iOS change nothing on apps u purcahsed before.

Bear in mind, once u upated to iOS5, u won't be able to revert back to 4.3.3, hence it means that currently u won't be able to JB. iPad2 only can be JB on 4.3.3 currently. Reminder for u.

Yes if u're using the same iTunes account. Downloaded and purchased apps are kept with iTunes account, not with ipad. iPad was just a device to use it biggrin.gif Login ur App Store with the same account and u can alwis redownload it.

From here, u know that purchased apps are transferable among frens' ipad, but the problem comes in when u need to upgrade, u nit password. Alwis keep your own account P&C.

Sorry i can't fully understand your question, i assumed you're asking why buy online rather than buy in shop?
Buying online Apple will directly send to your house, and you can customize engraving on the iPad.

P/S: Not everyone staying in the city where there are authorised reseller there.

Not sure if this is the answer you want, correct me if it's not. smile.gif

Depends on your luck, some shops still keep old stock. I got my iPad 2 w/ 4.3.3 from Mac City at the time when iOS5 was announced.
Anyway, i've updated to iOS5.0.1 now for the 200+ features. lol.

Heard from many iOS users that the home button might malfunction prematurely. Perhaps the display units was abused at the Home button.
