I have the same experience.  But with bigger drill bit size.

Using smaller size Drill bit can be drill on concrete. Slower.

long time didnt visit this tread blush.gif

bro, impact drill and driver is different- one is to drill hole, you will need some impact for drilling concrete, where else impact driver is used for screwing and tightening bolts and nuts, therefore there need more torque.

QUOTE(wa1k3r @ Apr 14 2015, 11:55 PM)
Hi guys, am in the market for an cordless impact drill/driver...basically something much stronger than my current cordless drill/driver (bosch gsr1440)

After much researching done, i'm getting a little confuse especially between impact drill/driver & impact driver

Bosch Impact drill/driver GSB14,4 V LI rm650+
35NM torque

Bosch Impact driver GDR1440 RM400+
130NM torque (!!)

The one i'm currently using is only 30NM torque but cost me around RM350..my question is, if the GDR1440 has so much more torque than GSB14,4 why is it cheaper?

The GSB14,4 is only 5NM torque more than what i'm using, why is it almost double the price?

Another impact driver model GSB14,4 (not to be confused with GSB1440) has 20NM torque more than GSB1440 but price is more than double!

What i want to know, what would be best value when comes to impact drill/driver?
I understand the difference in functionality but such major difference in price vs specs..make me confuse what i want to buy...

My application mainly woodworking..number 1 reason i'm looking at getting another cordless driver is its too troublesome keep having to change drill bit and hex driver bit..and i always know my next cordless drill/driver would have to be 'impact' type

So since i'm getting a new one, might as well go for impact ones and not just another drill/driver..but at the same time i'm tight on budget..i dont mind paying but it needs to best value since i'm not gonna be buying another in near future

Any advise & help would be greatly appreciated!!

there is an expansion at Bosch Penang, Bosch Germany is our customer.

Bosch Penang is only focused on power tools such as drills, hammer drills, cordless screwdrivers etc.

Learn from mistake lor. Drill wall wont get that precise 1. It is after drill and mount, how you correct the level, adjust here and there. I mean solving the problem is important.

Use a nail to punck a pilot hole. Than use small drill bit to drill first. Just less than half depth is enough. Than change to the desire drill bit and drill all the way. It is troublesome abit. But give you better accuracy for beginner.

Before drilling use nail & hammer it to make a groove, so your drill bit won't run

My drill bit didn't run. I start out with slow revolutions. It's a 10mm bit and the holes on my tv mount has no vertical play, only horizontal can be adjusted. But I dunno why lari. 😔

You can now drill it with the bracket in there but you will scratch the bracket.

After you mark the hole, have you check it out with the frame before drill?

Actually you still can repair and use the hole. There is a way to solve such problem.

Not only senget but the mount is now lower 1cm than where it should be! WTF did I do lol 😵

Anyway I might drill again but it only came with 4 wall plugs. I need to see if I can find S10 wallplugs.

I've now decided to use the bottom hole. Now it's a bit more level and can hardly be eyeball. Just now using top hole, one look also can see senget.
But 1cm lower can't be help. Just pray now that when the tv is mounted, I got enough clearance. I can't continue today as nobody to help me carry the TV

Previously left side was lower. Now it's right side but not as bad as just now. At least I didn't drill into the power lines or my satellite LMAO 😆
