I interested in this before. But data I survey shows its accessories is not durable if use to cut hard objects like metal and cement...

there are some youtube videos to promote the tools and also some vids with its disadvantages..

so far looks like a multipurpose tool to me.. rather than get circular saw. jig saw.. grinder

for diy.. small project i think it works wonderfully well.. but for large project nothing beats specialized tools

U misunderstood. The quick change chuck I mean is you can totally change the SDS chuck to ordinary drill chuck.
*
The normal model cannot change the sds chuck?

the normal chuck, will only be used if u want to attached those so called.. specialized tile drilling bits..

as i've yet to come across tiles/glass drilling bits like

http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Accesso...9&subCatId=1625

in SDS format, never really used SDS bits in drilling mode - hammer to drill tiles..

does it perform better ?

Saw some tiles bit in ACE.

Sds chuck not accurate for precise drilling. Got to change to jaw chuck. But jaw chuck not suitable for hammer drilling. Spoil easily.

consider the makita lxt 18v cordless from US. check ebay, they're around RM2k shipped and you get a lot more equipment.

was contemplating of getting one, then RM goes to drain and have to hold my horses.

Ordinary model only can insert chuck adapter but cannot change head.
