hi guys ordered bosch dre 2-26 for rm580. what do you guys think about this price? makita 2470 is rm520 but the shop tell me that bosch is alot better performance and more service center and makita need to send back to kl to service so it will take longer time if any problems.

I am from jb. this shop carries wide range of makita, bosch and hitachi/hilti tools. not sure if the shop have 6+6month warranty. kinda funny, the shop do have instock for makita drill yet reckomen to get bosch drill.

QUOTE(JinXXX @ Dec 15 2011, 01:10 PM)
how small of a town are u from ?

usually those machinary shop(cinapek style) will repair any brand of power tools.. one

just that the time frame will be different... depending on "commonality" of your tools and if they got stock up parts or not

for me at least i believe that makita and bosch that model/range is similar if not same in quality...

just different is paying extra for the brand only... unless when u bought your dre2-26, u manage to get those 6+6 years warranty thinggy

bahathir it comes as std accesories s4l 10, 12 and 16mm
i think this shop price is not bad, carries a number of brand
dewalt, skill, maktec, hitachi, makita, bosch etc. ang quite a whole range as well. but chinaman type no cc accepted.
hitachi 24mm 800w rm450, makita 2470 rm520 and 2810 is rm640 and the 226dre is a bit cheaper than rm580. kaki lang lol.

hmm, wouldnt hammer/normal drill is more suitable for wood and metal? they are lighter as well. the bosch 226 dfr cost around 700 which comes with quick chuck one.

some normal drill i think is as powerful as rotary drill around 700w.

Ic, nvm i guess i am getting the bosch gdr10.8 cordless for rm300 instead for mobility blush.gif

QUOTE(bahathir @ Feb 16 2012, 03:20 PM)
I bought at about that figure. It is rare to find CORDED impact driver these days. Most of the impact drivers are cordless, which are more expensive and high maintenance.
