my suggestion...

use sticker to stick to each of the wire...

label 1 to 12 for the top
and A to L for the bottom pin...

Here is the part 2 Part 2

hmm ... good guide but not so in detail, the guide that gary put up at the front page is even better ..

the part 2 is absolutely bull shit ... there's no guide at all .. just a simply show u the magic.

Vantec kit is good in one sense but poor in another .. most of time u would over spent coz like Rodney said ..

you would need two packs of those to get a PSU done with few excessive sleeves.

So it's much more better if the sleeves are purchase at the size and length needed separately

Besides the heat shrink that comes with vantec could shrink a lot but it's not firm and a bit soft ... good for bending the cable after sleeve but can't hold the cables well.. which why cable tie is used by Rodney in the part 1..

overall I would appreciate the quality of vantec's sleeves but not the heat shrink .... better go for industrial grade .. lot more cheaper, more size selection and holds better ...

true....the vantec sleeves are great...but the shrinks are absolute crap... too thick. wont shrink that much oso doh.gif

for heatshrinks best to use industrial grade that Doom mentioned... especially those "Hong Shang" shrinks thumbup.gif

the part 2 is quite crap for me.

wait for me to do the real PART 2

and redo Part 1 in video & pictures again. icon_rolleyes.gif

btw, most heatshrink will harden after sometime. depending on the working environment,

WOER brand is one of the best in the world.

recheck back ur connectors. do some comparison if u got other PSU.
maybe some connectors reconnect wrongly. try to looks at those 20/24pin...and also ur 4-pin mobo connectors.
recheck again..
