I think people are confused between buying stuff using CC through the phone and calling MBB CS for an issue. When buying stuff, getting asked for the CVV number is normal. When calling CS, this question should never arise.

No you won't but the authentication already happened twice. However nothing to be unduly worried about.

Called CS, they say it is normal for CS to ask the 4 digit security code if we called in and complain/says that our transaction fail. As they need the code to trace back blablablablablablabla.....
I asked any danger of being misuse by CS that got my info, he said it is safe ... oh well ...

I just apply this card yesterday.. through email application toward someone in maybank.

firstly i fax my document, someone call me to use email as the IC document not so clear. He said should be no problem to approve it since I have account with maybank and another visa credit card.

How long should I expect?

Normally it will take around 1-2 weeks. Sometimes it may be longer

hi i'd like to ask..
how long it takes for my transaction to appear on maybank2u?

i just paid for Airasia flight on 30jan. the transaction doesnt appear yet on maybank2u although I received sms notification of purchasing the ticket right after I successfully paid it.

and is it normal when I paid my total statement balance using maybank2u, at the details i can still see my statement balance although i paid exact amount. it appears to deduct from my current balance (the outstanding balance) not form my statement balance... (but i can see the minimum amount is reset back to RM0.
