im intending to apply a maybankard 2 gold...

the problem is i just started work and got my first pay slip... im a fresh grad...

can i like apply the cc with my degree, kwsp statement and one mth pay slip?

do u think the chances are they gonna reject my applications? oh ya the salary requirement by them not a prob for me...
*
i suggest u wait for another 1 month to apply.
im a fresh grad also and i just started working last August. I went to apply at OU branch, and they just need 2 mth pay slips. after 2 hours, i got my cards. thumbup.gif (i dont have loans)

i made a mistake before which i go apply at the booth instead of the office directly. if you apply at the booth, i dont know how long u have to wait. takes 3 weeks said d officer at the office. doh.gif

If your statement date is today, then you will only see the statement online tomorrow. Buy it tomorrow if you want to be very sure it'll appear in next month's statement.
*
oo okay. thanks for your advise. notworthy.gif i'll buy it tomorrow then.

No need to wait for statement. Just Call CS ask what is your statement date then buy your ticket 1 day after the statement date. The charges will be included in the next month bill.

weee just called them and asked. have to wait 2 3 days to appear online. cey..
anyway i proceed to book my flight using AMEX. 2 times.. declined.. i am scared.. so called them up again and they said it appears that something has gone wrong with their system on the time i tried to make payment and they suggest to try once again after they checked there's nothing wrong with my card and the system is back online.. and it works! got the sms notification straight away. phew...

i feel so newbie.. this my first time doing transaction online using my maybank2card.
thanks for the brilliant CS. rclxms.gif

now i can sleep in peace.

hi i'd like to ask..
how long it takes for my transaction to appear on maybank2u?

i just paid for Airasia flight on 30jan. the transaction doesnt appear yet on maybank2u although I received sms notification of purchasing the ticket right after I successfully paid it.

and is it normal when I paid my total statement balance using maybank2u, at the details i can still see my statement balance although i paid exact amount. it appears to deduct from my current balance (the outstanding balance) not form my statement balance... (but i can see the minimum amount is reset back to RM0.

varies depending on the posting date. Can be same, +1, +2, +3 days. Rare cases can be even higher
normal
yes. that is the behaviour. Statement balance does not change, only minimum and current balance. (statement balance cannot be zero as it is the "Statement" right? Something that has been stated/fixed.).
*
ohh thank you for explaining.
so it means the statement balance wont go away even i paid the exact amount? i'm afraid the interest will go up although the left balance (outstanding) is for my next month statement. not the current one..

as long you paid the full amount in the statement, the remaining amount under the current balance is not subject to interest, since you are not carrying a balance and the the current spend has not been statemented

ohh i see. alright. thank you so much!

If you pay using M2U by transferring from your saving account is updated fast. You MAY not be charged for anything as I remembered that there's an extension period of 3 days from the due date.

ooh really? glad to hear that. i hope there's extension period. planning to pay using M2U tomorrow. now too late already sweat.gif
