what about cimb debit cards?

coz i already have a cimb acc.

do thy have debit card that can do overseas transaction? like pay for amazon or ACCA subscription?

my question:

1. why i didnt see cimb debit mastercard on the first page?

2. i recently got cimb debit and maybank debit. but CIMB offers rebate 1% for petrol. how do i enjoy this benefit?

3. actually this suppose to be my first question, how do i activate my cimb debit card??

what about maybank visa debit card? coz my friend told me maybank visa debit card not recognised by acca n itune.

so that means pbb visa debit better than maybank? if pbb can really do all these transactions then i'll just go for pbb.

but the only prob with pbb is that thy have limited atm. lol maybank n cimb is saturated in most malls.even in college also thy have cimb n maybank. so no need walk so far.

Debit card and certain credit card are not recognized by itunes when u doing the registration. You can purchase the app using MBB and PBB debit card...

i can confirm now! i just paid my acca fees!

PBB d2d debit visa CAN use for ACCA subscription fees! YAAAAY

soooo much easier now. no need to buy bank draft anymore!

The hong leong visa debit card with atm feature, the common one

just browse thru CIMB website...
there's actually T&C about their cashback policy...
do read them....

and for answer number 3...i do believe that the activation would be same as ATM...

i do feel like to upgrade my current normal CIMB ATM card to CIMB debit card...

I mean they got Mastercard or Visa nowadays.. Also the Hello Kitty version and normal version debit card as GSC, they only acknowledge the normal one instead of the Hello Kitty Mastercard Debit card....

I don't think they will waive the RM8 annual fee (at least for now)

I think during upgrade , they might ask you whether want to pay the Annual Fee ( Withdraw ) or not . They will ask you to pay during upgrade or direct debit from your account

I got the message too but I'm holding the EonBank Debit Card.

Then the damn thing is, I couldn't find any info bout it in the website even it says visit www.hlb.com.my for info. Like bloody trying to con us.

I just found the info... It stated as long as HLB debit card (Visa/ Mastercard) also entitle for it. The 8% usage is valid for RM50 and above per receipt and the cash back are capped at RM 4 per receipt and RM12 per campaign. HLB only allocate RM 12, 000 for the whole campaign....

RM266 - RM188 - RM25(All time reserve) = RM53 should be your available balance for usage.

if my debit card left rm100 and i want to pay rm120 to get ebay items(paypal).will the bank help me to cover the balance first ?

For US issued debit card with overdraft facility, yes. The bank will. However, for all debit card issued by banks outside of US, you can can use the amount up to your available balance in your account.
