QUOTE(Kiki-Lala @ Nov 18 2011, 10:29 AM) Which shop did you get it from ^^Currently im a big fan of Kata bags! I have 2 currently, 1 back pack and 1 sling but its not really a sling, I dont know how to explain, like ikki says it sticks to my body n it distributes the weight by adding another strap which you strap on your bag like how backpacks have waist belt! Fits a d7k with mb d11, 70-200 f2.8m, sb700 and 50mm 1.8g and i carry it all day during my holidays and its really comfortable! I would highly recommend it! http://www.kata-bags.com/product/0/KT%2BDL...ns_%2B_2_lenses My backpack is a bumblebee ul222 pretty comfortable with an aluminium frame anda memory foam as the backpack strap! |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 18 2011, 07:01 AM) Thinktank's price is getting more "premium" now unfortunately I was looking at their smaller bags like the UD but I thought it was cheaper the other time. I may be wrong. I compared the time I got my Thinktank Airport Acceleration V2 a few months back and the price now almost doubled. Is that correct?QUOTE(Calvin Seak @ Nov 18 2011, 01:16 PM) My backpack is a bumblebee ul222 pretty comfortable with an aluminium frame anda memory foam as the backpack strap! Kata bags are not bad and I used to like them too. But the 3N1 30 that I have does not hold my lenses so well after a while. The strap stretches over time and the bag also loses it's shape and therefore the lenses can move about in the bag.I'm actually more interested in the Bumblebee 222UL that you have. Looks like it somehow improves over the older Kata bags with the aluminum frame and memory foam strap? How much did you get it for? Where? |

Yea I like it alot fit close to you and firm to your body, its really comfortable and convenient allowing you to strap your camera to your bag's strap to distribute the weight from your neck to your shoulders.. I think i got it for RM 840 from J-one Jason. I asked eng tong and they quoted me 1xxx if i am not mistaken! I carried this in singapore for 3 straight days with over 10++ kg worth of weight >.< still comfortable! Kata bags are not bad and I used to like them too. Where? most imporatnt of all your can bring it on flights, flew tiger airlines, air asia, and including MAS(smallest cabin among all) although its a few cm bigger than the allowed dimensions it still fits the cabin easily Added on November 18, 2011, 4:17 pm QUOTE(ikki9394 @ Nov 18 2011, 01:39 PM) 1 questtion here,,, does it fit D7k with lens and grip attached? the bumble bee is really convinient because you can strap ur camera on the backpacks strap and you wont even notice the weight of your camera! Best part is the strap came along with the bag! Talking about comfort! I really like the bumblebee versions... but they dont have any quick access... so need to take out the bag from shoulder to grab the camera... yea the lighttri fits a d7k with grip which is the mb d11 and a 70-200 f2.8 lens which is huge n heavy! theres a bigger version of the lighttri which could add in another lens so thats 3 lenses 1 body and 1 flash! I dont know about ari but so far my experience with kata is splendid and best of all it is back with a life time warranty which makes you feel safer that their products are meant to last a life time I actually bought the light tri 315 because the bumblebee ul222 can be connected to the lighttri for convenience of switching lenses "(EPH) Ergonomic Photo System is designed with connection tabs to enable interconnections with other Kata products" This post has been edited by Calvin Seak: Nov 18 2011, 04:17 PM |

I want something very casual and semi-formal for any occasion including dinner. The attachable camera strap on the harness is very attractive as well but still... need to take the bag out 1st only can access the camera... Bottom line -Really like this bag and I think it is very suitable for travel or adventurous journey. 222UL will be my 2nd bag on the list after getting my 1st DSLR bag Dint notice it is also quite pricey |

Do consider the lighttri as your 1st dslr bag! Its cheap! the 315 is only RM230.. Theres a bigger version which is rm 400++ the material is the same material as the 222-ul therefore the price is much steeper! Just google around or use youtube for reviews about the 222! Won awards and if you happen to be in a store that sells it have a look at it see if it matches your needs! The material is definitely good!

If you guys want some discrete looking bag + wallet friendly just get one of those china brands in garage sales. Some of them looks really good and the quality are pretty decent too. I've used Pierre & Paul bag for almost 2 years until the strap broke (which is my fault anyways since stuff too many things in it
