Do enable this

You need to check your speed profile has been upgraded by TM

Otherwise it won't work
*
Noted. I shall call time then since I am sure I have already enabled fast track.

depends on what model you got.

I have the old RB750G (680MHz CPU) <-- this was a rather popular model in old times, I think a lot people has this.

30mbps legacy unifi package = 30% CPU
100mbps unifi package = 65% CPU

both are fast track off @ gigabit LAN @ only 1 desktop PC.

I think this router is capable up to 200mbps only despite it has gigabit WAN port.

Yeah..
*
seems like after enable fasttrack can reach 250mbps

hmm upgrade router or downgrade line to 100mbps..

choices choices choices

I have the same router. Got 300Mbps DL and 200Mbps UL on a Turbo 800 with fasttrack enabled.
Although I didn't restart my btu just yet.

Not really possible on your CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+PC since all the interfaces are directly wired into the CPU without a switch chip :

user posted image

The older CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+'s with the Atheros switch chip should be able to do it. You don't really need it for HyppTV anyway, you're got more than enough CPU power on the CCR1009 to handle the load from the CPU bridging. Most people only use the Mikrotik switch chip VLAN tagging/untagging on the lower end models to perform VLAN switching without bogging down the slower CPU.

Dunno if this counts. On my RB2011 which receives the vlan trunk from my RB750Gr3, the incoming trunk and outgoing untagged ports are configured using /switch only.

Hello guys.

I am looking for a router to replace an aging Draytek Vigor 2130n in the near future.

For Unifi 800Mbps

Is the Mikrotik RB750Gr3 good enough to handle anywhere between 30 - 50 clients? Mostly laptops and smartphones
It will be connected to 2 or 3 dumb switches and around 8 cheap APs... low end tplink, asus, dlink, some dual band some not xD

The only restriction that I'm gonna implement is 'Session Limit' (for all ip range). BTW how many sessions can the RB750Gr3 handle? The Vigor 2130n can handle around 15000 IINM..
Not looking to maximize the speed for everyone; max speed is only for the PC connected directly to the router just to do a speedtest laugh.gif

As long as the router doesn't freeze due to torrent or something similar (that requires a power cycle to fix) it's good enough.

If you're wondering.. it's for a student accommodation.

Export the configuration to file then import into new router.

Tried that following the guide available on the net, kept saying file has command error.
End up copying all the settings manually.

Although, I'm calling for help. Can anyone who is using Gr3 with 800Mbps and able to get full speed help me?
I'm already out of my wit.
