Yes, it is a good offer.  biggrin.gif
I was initially aim for UT50 but after seeing ST50, you will feel that you need extra "ohmmmm"  tongue.gif

UT50 only has 2 glasses, ST50 gives 4 glasses.
So additional 699 you will get 2 extra glasses, built-in wifi, Neoplasma display, infinite black pro, crystal frame design, what else to say?  laugh.gif
*
May i know where did u get the 2999 + 699 for ST50 with 4 glasses? I am eyeing UT50@2999 but seems your ST50 is a better deal smile.gif

Those glasses are probably one of those which uses the small watch batteries...

hm, heard from the sales man saying that the glasses will be charged wirelessly via Bluetooth connection, maybe this is why there is no cable? hmm.gif

Can we buy the extended e-warranty online? it has to be after we register the product?

You need to log into yr panasonic account at the website. Go to "My Products"  section. Look for your registered product, you will then see the option to "buy now" for "extended warranty".
*
Can we register the product ourselves if it isnt there?

I don't think Bluetooth function as charger as well.. That shouldn't be part of Bluetooth spec..
*
Wrong info given by the promoter, after i read the manual, the battery has to be replaced once it has dried out. Its a kind of slim battery in round shape, not sure how much it costs.

ehhhh ... well, yes, you must register your product first, else it will not appear under "my products" listing. once the listing is there, u can buy the extended warranty online.
*
Yup, with the serial number stated in the warranty card, i am able to register the product myself and check out the price of extended warranty. thanks

Added on November 25, 2012, 2:09 pmDoes anyone try connecting the plasma from laptop via HDMI?

No matter how i try, there is still image distortion especially over the fonts, it is not as clear and as sharp as connecting from PS3 if comparing the windows fonts and PS3 menu fonts for instance, screen looks little flickering as well.

Already running at native resolution 1080p/60hz, lower it down still remain the same problem. Any idea and does it happen to your plasma? Mine is P50ST50K with latest firmware.

http://www.projectorcentral.com/judder_24p.htm

A very good and detailed article explaining why we encounter motion trail and judder when watching bluray at 1080p/24p on latest plasma still, now i am starting to think my st50k is not defect unit as i always find the annoying motion trail from all the BD i watch so far.

And also found out something called Soap Opera Effect

I'm not sure what you means,  I didn't see this problem when I connect my notebook to P50St50 via HDMI, the screen look fine and not distorted.
I'm using the pre-installed s/w - powerDVD 10 which came with my lenovo U400 and I also use the PowerDVD 12 too.
*
May i know which Graphic card your laptop is? AMD or ATI or Intel Integrated, i tested on 2 laptops with Nvidia GPU and both having the same problem. Basically the text looks messy. Especially if it is on the white background, zooming in will be better but still not satisfying, I suspect its the NVidia driver.

Question here, what is the refresh rate of ST50K when dealing with 24P input signal? Is it 48hz or 60hz?

Is there any effective way to reduce the crosstalk in 3D mode?

Heard by seting the TV to 48hz playback can reduce the crosstalk greatly, but it seems there's no such option in my P50ST50k.

Any other good advice?

Paid deposit for a 50ST50 @ RM2650 in Sibu, Sarawak.  Tomorrow I'm going to pay in full and bring it home.

The shop selling TV only @RM2300, for RM2650 c/w the 2 pair spec & HDMI.

I still suspect how come so cheap??  The SP keep telling me to take UT, said ST no full HD.  I tell him I don't mind, just give me the ST.
*
Make sure not XT, ST is 3D and Full HD still, even UT which is one level lower than ST. Model range: UT->ST->GT->VT, they all are 3D+Full HD...
