To all new users : if you faced auto reboot problems check your apps. This is usually main cause especially if you are using crscked apps from blackmarket
if you did not use such apps just do a factory reset n monitor whether this is occuring. If so than send in to claim motherboard issues
i can assure all of you thst so far most of the cook roms i have tested never gives reboot issue. So dont think this is due to cook roms
it is either bad apps or motherboard issue
*
that's right uncle benny. custom ROM were created to fix certain issues that exist in stock ROM.

check your apps, try uninstall any latest apps that u got before the self reboot happens.

mine still got the auto reboot. but it doesn't frequent as before..

Added on September 17, 2011, 11:27 pmguys, got any recommended custom ROM for SGS2? i mean based on your own experience; the most stable to date..

hi guys, where should we find those apps that we download from market? i mean the installer..
*
The installer is deleted after install. If there is any installer left behind it should be in /data/local folder

Ok..Thanks biggrin.gif I just got the phone...still hot...

Btw..I need some help of you guys. I'm not sure whether this is normal..
Because I know that this phone actually comes with 16G storage.
I went to the storage tab. It says the System storage is 80.48mb/1.97GB. USB Storage 30.31MB/11.50GB. So which one is the 16GB?

Read the first page. Or to make it easier, go to the first page Ctrl+F type 16 and enter. You will find it eventually.

Aiyoo, anything fun happen this weekend? I was lost configuring a new member of my mobile stable:

user posted image

Annnd, my circle of "using stuff I dissed" is now complete, having gone through all the big 3 mobile OSes (all of which I had a marked distaste towards before this). Needless to say, family circumstances forced me to get one anyway.

And while BBOS is a joke even at ver 6 on my old second hand Torch, compared to iOS and Android, it's still WORLDS better then S^3 or Anna or whatever.

And that QWERTY is sublime. Hopefully a QNX phone with the Torch design, good specs and the "android emulator" would come BEFORE RIM goes bankrupt, as I REALLY like the device. It's the software that's not quite there yet.

Even then, now I know why they call it the CRACKberry. It's fun, even if it feels like a feature phone next to the SGS2 or the iPhone 4.

gah, I need help! When I connect my SGS2 to my laptop via usb, I can't seem to enter the camera picture folder and music folder. It just disconnects and reconnect whenever I click on those folders every single time! Other folders are enter-able. Whats wrong? sad.gif

Ush got my sgs2 today. Can't really get used to amoled this gona take some time. I feel there is a bluish tint over da screen. I looked it up online and it's not uncommon, so it is very subjective. Perhaps this could be partly due to how amoled works. It's either LCD or amoled, I guess im more of a LCD guy, who prefers a brighter white.

4.3" is huge and I must say samsung sure did a good in balancing the dimension of the device and its weight. Overall it's still a magnificent phone. Great stock gingerbread qwerty keyboard. I find myself flying thru da keys in no time.

Try again by removing the folders and resetup it back. If csn access only copy back your images and music. Possibly corrupted files inside the folders
