Seriously I don't know why some of you keep complaining about the SGS II sound output with earphone.IMO the output quiet good with decent bass. Will try again with my Nokia BH 505 to see whether the output is better than my N900.

1st day with SGS II & I managed to make it work hard.

@Eiraku
I played with Nokia N9 & Nokia 950 today.
I'll say this : Both of them are SLEEK!
Too bad I cannot show any picture & make review.Nokia rep clearly told me this.

After testing MeeGo's mutitasking I feel like Android's multitasking is absolute sh*t sad.gif

under box got sticker write distributed by samsung malaysia electronics and the phone battery part got stickers
we're comparing it with SGS Voodoo sound and iphone, always compare with the best, not with the worse. Can you elaborate further why meego is better than android in terms of multitasking
*
Ok.Got to admit that iPhone sound does sounds better. But some users complaint that SGS II sound is really bad. That's why I said it's ok for me.IMHO Nokia phones sounds are generally good.(could be subjective though).

MeeGo (true multitasking) vs Android ("fake" multitasking)
You need to try N9 to get what I mean.

I could have just started flame wars between MeeGo & Android whistling.gif

saw the utube video, gotta agree it's quite nice the iterface, swipe from left, can see currently running apps, budden  android also got apps that can do this. There is wave launcher and another 2 apps but i forgot the name, there's also multitasking app, of coz its up to each user's usage to determine which is the better
*
It's not necessary to copy paste another OS UI.Android's UI is pretty much ok for me.
There are some where Android UI is better and one of them widget support.

For a person who relied on physical keyboard for a long time it took me very short time to get used to the VKB.4.3" screen is good for my fat fingers tongue.gif

Added on September 16, 2011, 2:15 amBut seriously you guys probably would have shock of lifetime if you saw Nokia's rep demoing N9 build quality.
She actually smashed her N9 3 times at floor. And there was NO scratch on both body & screen.Gorilla screen baby!

I wonder any SGS II users willing to make same demo?

i love stock android. and will buy other device if i want the swipe and other thing. dont like using other apps to quick launch an app on android. but hey do take note, android can do anything other phone can, and look like them too. can others do that? nope!

and btw, the best "fake" multitasking is iphone~~

n9 is great, i plan on getting it. but android is my first all the time. my coursemate already call me android poweruser and android guru...tongue.gif
*
Technically speaking multitasking don't exist in iOS.It's more like fast switching

My previous Android phone was my Nokia N900 (yeah,I know it's not a proper android phone)
So now that I got a decent Android phone I'll keep it in stock for few days to see what it can do.
After that time I'll get down to business.Expect some of Google things to disappear from my phone @ that time(this is illegal according to Google license btw)
I dislike the fact that now Google own part of me shakehead.gif

You can only demo such action with unibody casing. S2 case is made up of several pieces of tiny plastic with a lot of fragile connecting point that deformed upon hard contact with another solid material. Different type of material and manufacturing affect the durability and strength of it as well.

Just like my previous HTC Legend. Drop it couple of times from waist and knee level onto cement and tar road, just few nicks into the unibody alu casing without any sign of deformation to the shape of it. Screen didn't shattered even though non gorilla glass.

Anyway, with such elongated screen, I wonder if it would be nice to browse/read in portrait mode. Waiting for Nokia to arrange demo set.
*
I thought the same thing too. With SGS II you can still feel the "hollowness" inside.
Somehow I prefer plastic unibody over metal unibody now.Plastic gives a much better grip.

Browsing is pretty good.I didn't see anything weird with the webkit page rendering with the slightly weird resolution.
Looked more or less same with Android default browser in SGS II.

Honestly it's waste of time doing some modding to play tegra games.
The games aren't that interesting.

Well,I'm not fussy about my screen.I don't know whether it has yellow tint or not.But it's still a lot better than my N900 screen. So I don't mind it.

cause ipad 2 is the closest idea of what speed we might expect from iphone 5. but i think iphone 5 will lose to galaxy s2 in web loading, as it always has been losing to android devices
*
Why do you care so much about the hardwares between these devices?
If your device f choice gives good overall performance for best budget isn't it enough?

If you want best hardware for your phone you have to contact SOC manufacturer & ask them to make a custom made phone with best hardware you can think of.

SEP supposedly 2 years.

...

I is the jealous now.

Before I buy the phone I asked the seller how long the warranty & he said it's 2 years.
Now I'm confused.
Need to email Samsung Malaysia to clarify this...

If it's really 3 years I want to purposely brick my phone after 2 years & Samsung have to replace me with SGS IV brows.gif
