Mine okay d.. I D.I.Y my ps3 slim lens so now no more noise
and can read all disc perfectly! before this, cannot read
dual-layer disc so can;t play games like uc3, gow3, mgs4, ffxiii etc.

cost to change lens i think around RM200 to 300

i fixed it myself, so just have to pay for the spare part
cost just rm80

Hi guys, i need your help... My fat PS3 MY set not so well lately..
I've encountered my bd games stucked inside my PS3. Last time when i was trying to eject my bd, i need to press eject button twice.
Firstly, it make some kind of weird sound 'ketak' and then for the second time i press again and it was out. Sometimes the bd still stuck inside but there is no sign of blue light. So any useful tips?

bro, i managed to do bit research on utube, looks like newer model (July 2011++) CECH30xxx producing this kind of printing/fax machine sound/noise while reading/loading disc.
guess its not a prob relieved a bit lol
coz mine one bought on August 2011

My controller left analog stick is functioning weirdly . My character keeps going to the right and I cant control the analog stick to move to the direction I want . It keeps going to the right

Is the spring inside the analog stick somewhat lose or some hardware problem ?

just bought a ps3 slim 160 gb (sg set) this morning.

just tried hdmi and the red/yellow/white cable to link the ps3 to 2 different tvs...

but both tv showed blue screen...
tried holding the on/off button for 10-15 seconds to do the reset...

still no change...
could it be the problem with the console?

lucky then its normal for 30xxx batch..

i'm using the latest cech 30XXX batch... 320gb ori malaysia sony set... it seems it's much more quiet compare to that sg set or such in youtube...mybe lucky me...lol
