im new to the ps3 and my cd just crack when i insert into the ps3. does this always happen ?

does ps3 got something like steam when can i just download the game and play it

Alright just came back to find something very wrong with myPS3's inputs. ive been away for about 10 months and my PS3 has been used by my younger brother.

I cant seem to get any video or audio feed from the PS3, i get a slight *whirring* sound when i turn the machine on. Ive tried HDMI/AVI/ HDMI to DVI cables on the 2 TV's and my PC.

I can only conclude that either my PS3 has a problem or the cables im using have a problem.

Anyone has experience this before have any insight? if no where would one go for a reliable repair for the PS 3?

make sure check the disc before inserted into ps3

there are some games sold in psn store (digital copy)

try doing reset display on ps3 console

I cant even see anything to reset the display, is there an external way to do ti?

hey can some1 help,when i connect my streamyx linksys router connection to my ps 3,sometimes and when i test the network,sometimes psn connection fail,sometimes all pass except connection upload,download speed fail...and when i play fifa 12 online,it always lag out,and disconnect from ea server and psn...:@

nwk,thx for information,i got 2 connection p1,and streamyx,but when i connect p1,my upload and download speed test on ps3 failed,why is that??and when i update my ps3 GT5,its super slow,15min only 1% :'(

I just bought a HDMI to Display Port wire hoping to hook my PS3 to my Dell monitor. No display. If I use a HDMI to DVI adapter and a DVI wire to the monitor, it works. Anyone knows why the first connection didn't work?

no display means its not compatible... but there's hdmi to DP converter (heard it works/doesn't work)

juts use hdmi to dvi cable/adapter then

wireless connection is it? it could be that u using dynamic ip for ps3

why not manually set static ip for the ps3 (outside dchp range).

whats the bearable internet speed connection to play ps3 online
been using 2mb yet so slow. too bad my area r not covered by unifi

i played with 1MB last time no issue pawning ppl online..

u oso played with crappy P1 wimax last time...of coz la can pawned people coz u always teleport!

KZ3 = P1
BF3 = shitmix > unifi

1mb minimum.

I'm using 1MB streamyx only... Don't really had any big problem...
