QUOTE(abc0716 @ Jan 2 2012, 02:04 AM) Most R2 games are more expensive than R1's. By the way, since most games has opening videos, whenever we play those games, is this better to skip those videos (if you don't want to waste some time) or letting it play instead? To extend the 'lives' of the game discs and the console... I watched it at least once. Then I'd skipped it coz want to start the game fast. Not to prolong lives (never heard that b4).

Hmm, I think I should clarify my actual meaning. Well, if we skip the openings of the game too often, will the disc being damaged because of this?

Again never heard of this before, never got damaged (even though play countless times - eg FF13 is one), no scratch marks, no problems. In summary its safe unless you intend to play it put in and out over 10,000 times then i kenot guarantee

And also, BDs are much more scratch resistant than DVDs.

QUOTE(yanhui95 @ Jan 3 2012, 07:48 PM) you burn the subtitles into the video file with the encoder on pc first. after that, you can watch it on ps3 with subtitles displayed on your tv.

QUOTE(kento @ Jan 4 2012, 12:34 PM) some said PS3 slim got lower chance to get Y-LOL-D slim ps3 does have a lower chance of YLOD but that also depends on how you use it. if you play 24/7 like you have no life, then it will sure get YLOD.

Just wanna know what you get set for the RGB Full Range setting on the PS3 when connecting to a HDTV. Either Limited or Full? I set it to Full on my PS3 because it looks great on my SHARP Tv. For RGB video signals, the range of color scale that is input varies depending on the TV in use. If the color don't seem right to you, then set it to Limited.
