My ps3 recently got corrupted because sombdy just off my ps 3 like that without shutting down properly. When I on it back, it says I have some files corrupted and it will restore it back for me. After I did this, when I play online, it's damn laggy and sometimes, I can't even find rooms or lobbies at all to play games. Is it something to do with the corruption of my ps3 or is it my connection or psn problem? I asked tmnet to reset my connection but still got this problem. Anybody can help?

Mine does have tat sound. I did search as mostly they said is normal. Hopefully

I recently have problems connecting to PSN after changing the DNS of my unifi routers to OpenDNS. I post this questions at router thread but no one answer. Can anyone here teach me how to configure it? Thanks.

Finally bought myself a PS3
I asked the Sony Center few days ago and they said they have splash blue but today went to buy they said sold out... get a standard charcoal black.
Anyway, I was trying to sign up PSN account but I keep getting this "server timed out", I'm on WLAN and internet connection test is successful, I can surf internet fine... is it PSN server problem or what?

unifi router = tm dns

anyway i'm having connection issues too... timeout timeout (to PSN servers)

ya i experience that also, when the game is running, it make noise like printer printing sound, not so sound but bit annoying coz im using pc monitor to play and sit just near my ps3, lol, not having problem with psn downloaded games, so i think it is normal.

im abit regret not buying sacred red version of ps3, haha, like ferrari. Black is classic but more visible to see the dust collecting.

There's nothing wrong with PSN. It's only affecting UNIFI users. Streamyx users all can log in without any problems. I also checked with my PSN friends from US & EU and they say there's no problem with PSN for them.

I am also on Streamyx but mine is 4MB and I didn't had any problems when I downloaded some games from PS store yesterday.

Anyway, MX510 reported on Broadband forum that 75GB lost on TM international connectivity & repairs are to be completed on 13 January.

Anyway, tonight I'll do some troubleshooting if the problem keeps coming.
My Wii has no problem connecting to Nintendo Channel and playing online, though.

I'm on UNIFI 5Mb, cannot get PSN to log on these past two days, or it logs on and boots me off quickly. Whatever way, I think its a TM problem

Why is this unique only to Unifi? So weird. I am using OpenDNS and when I try to connect, the error states that its DNS issue. When I use back Unifi's orifinal router setting, it connects ok. So, can I assume its the openDNS problem?

However, sometimes it can connect during nightime. Super weird.

Well, I solve my problem by simply enable the UPnP in my Riger DB-108WL. Now signed up four PSN accounts namely MY, US, JP and UK (using New York Time Square, Tokyo Tower, and Westminster Abbey address )
