seems like line problem

Having Unifi doesnt mean u wont get connection problem.High download/upload speed doesnt mean u got good ping.My 4mbps can reach 400 kbps for download but never got good ping for online games.I got like 80-100 ms ping which is bad and disconnects me a lot.

seems like these past few days tm nut having problems kowt...even lyn is loading unusually slow.

hi guys. tried to turn on my ps3 slim just now for early morning gaming, but got this error.

"cannot start. The correct hard disk was not found"

turned it off & disconnect from the main supply few minutes, and tried again with the ds3 ps button.

all i get is all four led on ds3 blinking. then used the button on the console. it turned on(green light). but the hdd indicator is lit (not blinking). black screen.

try unplug ur hdd and then reconnect it...see if that works or not...if not like bro tanseehua said, ur hdd spoil dy, time for new hdd...

i turn off my ps3 by pressing the ps logo and turn off system
but my ps3 dint turn off and the green light keep blinking ..

what happen ??
i turn it off by pressing the on button for around 30secs ..then there a beep sound and it turn red light which is standby

btw my ps3 can't play .avi ,some can some cannot .

tried that, too. its dead. any possible cause for this? googled around and seems like it happened to alot of ppl...even to those with new units

i think you just force shutdown the console.

as for avi, best if you use ps3 media server gui (by streaming from PC to PS3). PS3 media support is very limited and restricted.

try new hdd. If not, then you need to send it back to Sony for diagnosis.

hurm..so that was my fault?..i dint know that the hdd is still busy .usually i turn off when im on gaming not in XMB. can this cause anything bad to happen?

i tried another version of .avi ,bluray , files below 2gb can, 3gb cannot, and weird thing i have 4gb of 720p bluray .avi but when i tried to transfer to my 500gb hdd via usb laptop,it says something like my hdd is full,but i havent use 100gb yet ,not even 20gb yet

ps3 will shut off accordingly... no worries

Generally, it shouldn't affect the PS3.
But it's always bad to turn an electronic off when it's still working through something.

There are many games that even when you pause, the console will continue to process data.

iinm ps3 can use psp as controller,but can i play psp games in big tv using ps3 ?
i mean,play like this ps3 media server,
connect psp with ps3 and play --> its like the ps3 media server,just displayed what i see in psp,can be seen on ps3
not download games from ps store..

im so sad today ...

newly bought ps3 slim , and i updated to fw 3.72 , after update it .. i enter gt5 disc ... the system cant detect ... i eject enter 2nd time then it load ... when i update gt5 it hang during download ... i press cancel ... the system seems so slow to back to the main PS3 menu , and the icons gone .. the hdd and wifi light keep turn on .. everything is slow at the menu .... shit
