Hi all, went to check out BSC this afternoon. Took the guthrie highway and was very long as I live at Kepong. Any other way from Kepong? Other than that, the site is huge. Went to checkout Bromelia, really nice but contractor did not allow to enter in as he said public is not allowed. Duranta looks really good too. Anyway does anyone know how to get there without passing the depressing kampung road? too many traffic lights and too long. smile.gif

QUOTE(BSCalex @ Mar 26 2012, 12:25 PM)
I was like those others forum member buyer of Oleander. Bocoz this was my first time joining forum so I used the name BSCalex. there is a way from SS2 to BSC only pay 1 toll at Guthrie RM1.40 use Subang airport road reach Denai Alam turn in Guthrie highway. I try before Jalan Kuala Selangor is more longer and jam.
That is another way without paying toll use Glenmarie exit to Guthrie before toll keep left at exit to Jalan Sg Buluh and turn in to Jalan Batu Arang at end it will reach Jalan Meru just in fornt will be BSC site. Many those staying at Saujana Utama & Punck ALam resident are using this road to PJ or Shah Alam. A bit long but no need to pay a cent of toll.
I timed from Saujana/Ara Damasara interchange to BSC[Jalan Sg Buluh>Guthrie>Jalan Kuala Selangor] without jam is only lest that 25~35min.
If use Batu Arang morning sure will be very jam.
I currently is staying at PJ SS4 area so I mostly go BSC cut through Ara Damasara to Subang airport.
Guthrie highway before reach Bukit Jelutong area sure no jam. Subang airport road depending time.
I like this BSC is bocoz is more quite not like PJ so crowded and RM700K below still can buy corner lot tongue.gif

don't forget the DASH highway is coming up...once it's done, in less than 20 mins we can travel from BSC to The Curve/Hartamas. Upon completion, the value of properties in BSC will at least double from the price now. http://www.prolintas.com.my/dash.php

Tx for sharing, i didn't even know about this HW -)

Thanks brother for this info. If DASH is completed, we can travel fast to reach home and skip the whole of Jalan Kuala Selangor road which is often jam.

Went in to take a look. A bit late, low on light so didn't take pictures.

Only one unit of Banyan past plastering stage, another coming up, got roof already. Most other units still at the pillar and structure stage.
Happy to see banyan coming up.  rclxms.gif
Although my unit quite deep inside, cannot see whether being 'taken care' of or not  sad.gif

Manage to talk to a worker there, say almost ready Banyan is the show unit, and they will start doing the internals next week.

One row each of Bromelia and Duranta looks almost done. The rest are coming up, at various stages.

Some still at piling stage, though

Also they are landscaping the retention pond area.
Most of the Banyan units will be buffered by the pond from the main road, so I think OK-la.
If KLK plant plenty of trees at the side, should be live-able.
*
Hi I am also a banyan owner. Do we need permission or show our agreement in order to gain permission to view the banyan unit? Looks like you gain entry easily... flex.gif

[attachmentid=2748930]Bromelia
[attachmentid=2748937]Duranta
[attachmentid=2748939]Banyan

Progress for Bromelia, Duranta & Banyan all look promising.

wow, dinner at K. Selangor? Heard there are plenty of seafood restaurants there. Which one did you go?

For sure is Bandar Seri Coalfields, just 1km down from the main entrance (traffic light), Aman Putri is 5km up from Bandar Seri Coalfields, so it is 6km from LATAR, but Aman Putri is nearer to Guthrie, just about 1km too.

Bro, if distance is your concern, and depending where your starting point is:
I Utama P. J via LDP and Jln. Kuala Selangor to BSC=24km.
1 U PJ via Persiaran Surian, then Persiaran Mahogani to Persiaran Jati to Jln. Sg. Buloh to Jln. K. S'gor to BSC=25km.
Travel time for above =40min

Distant isn't an issue for me so long there is highway (now/ future). Kemuning is far from KL too but appreciated a lot. Most important is the potential to grow. I'd prefer landed than city centre's condo bcoz condo relies 100% on the management.

Those are old enough here shall know Villa Puteri opposite PWTC, 20yrs (or 30yrs?) ago this condo was among the highest end condo in the city centre but the current price isn't must different with the launching price due to its bad management.

by comparison, a run down Kepong Maluri or Sri Damansara DSL can still fetch good price.

btw am staying @BRP, not far from AP/ BSC though.

Until now, I've no clue where is it...haha...never mind...

At least now there's a picture showing an almost completed Banyan show unit... rclxms.gif

Please keep posting more newer up-to-date pics. I really appreciate them. Thanks! biggrin.gif

You sound so relax about your purchase, bro. May I know the reasons that made you to want to buy a banyan semi-d in BSC? I too bought one and I don't mind staying there as long as there is good choices of Chinese/Thai hawker food like what I am enjoying now in PJ! tongue.gif I really hope that I won't miss these. For me, the main reason for this purchase is a landed freehold home and relatively cheaper thus value for money. I don't mind the distance if BSC can become a township similar to Taman Megah PJ or SS2. People can then skip coming over to PJ for food. The price we paid is making it much less per month to pay instalment smile.gif .
BSC will have fresh air as the whole area is surrounded by oil palm. The upward sloping hill is good for walk and exercise. Elsewhere in PJ, you can't run or walk without breathing in polluted air. It is thus an ideal place for people who retire like me.
My only wish is that when the shop lots are tenanted out, there may be more Chinese restaurants there. This is very possible for as long as there are Chinese, there are food...lol, for we love to eat out! Across the road is Desa Coalfields. It has mostly Malay/mamak food and relatively quiet too.
I checked on Tesco announcement for their new branches but none is in BSC. As I know hypermarts require certain population ratio to be approved by the authority, and maybe the criteria is not met yet for BSC and its surrounding area. However I hope Mydin can own a shoplot or 2 there, like what it does in Masjid India, KL. This will make grocery cheaper. I wonder if future residents can group together to write to Mydin or some big businesses to run a foodcourt such as Ming Tien in Taman Megah, PJ.
Seeking some response from interested parties. Thanks.

Called KLK developer yesterday and was told the completed banyan unit is not for show unit as all are sold out.
However, you may register for another new launch for semi-d soon. The gently rising up hill is good for those who believe in feng-shui, hahaha, though not me. But the view of a big gentle slope will be refreshing I think. When KLK cut down more palm trees to build more houses (1000 acres) in BSC, then MDKS may approve a hypermart. Hope you join in la, dear bro...
Opposite Desa Coalfields is only 200+ acres only, yet so many homes.
I hope KLK will build the shoplots soon, or we will need to travel far out for our needs at least for the coming 2013 or more..
Hope Henry can comment on this issue.

Henry seems like disappear for quite long d, wonder whether he still working in KLK? As I told by the staff, more than 80% of the buyers are Chinese, as we chinese are good in looking for the business opportunities, I believe will have some tauke will open the restaurants there biggrin.gif

For sure 1000+ acres will have hypermarket or mall to support the communities, just don't know when it will come only, stay tune! haha..

At the moment I've no intention to stay there. I bought it bcos it's freehold and it's a KLK's project. Will see how's the development surrounding that area. And very important to know if I get nice neighbors or not. If got lengchai neighbor, I don't mind moving there. thumbup.gif

Actually I'm looking forward their bungalow units. Just wait and see.

However if they start offering add-ons like extra power switches or whatever additional points, I'm keen to go for it.

I never know if I begin to like that area once all those nice houses are done.

Btw, I'm a female lah, don't call me bro, ok! tongue.gif

ops, 'bro' isn't to be, and looks like should call you 'leng lui' instead. Leng chai as neighbor? definitely got d. I know my son is one, whistling.gif.
Jokes aside, you already got banyan semi-d and now eyeing the bangalows! Hope the inside fixtures are of quality, eg. tiles, sinks etc.
If surrounding development is what KLK showed in their aerial model, it seems to have many shops up and coming, and staying on will be good, and future resale value too will be good. I am also in between staying or selling off, that is, if facilities are poor and if KLK only build their shoplots much later.
Ya, when lots of Chinese stay in any area. sure there will be restaurants selling food, and hopefully, got Hometown Hainan and Mydin. I am thinking of writing and speaking to these shop owners to go and have a look. doh.gif laugh.gif

U have lengchai son, i have lenglui daughter...hehe icon_rolleyes.gif

Yep, I'm eyeing their bungalow as their Banyan built-up is slightly smaller than the semi-d that I'm staying now. I'd like a garden too as my current place has been fully tiled-up to park our cars.

Perhaps BSC can offer cleaner air and more greens, oh ya, I read somewhere earlier in this thread about some foul smell in that area, hopefully it's not a major issue..

Huh? U so free to write to invite Mydin, etc. to help to populate that area? notworthy.gif thumbup.gif

I'm just hoping for good workmanship, easier and better access roads...
