porkchop: actually looking at the photos produce, i feel like 20mm f2.8 is on par with 16-35z leh. of coz comparing at similar focal length la. just my 2 cents la.. correct me if i miss out anything.

guys, i wana ask, the sensor alignment problem is it a common problem to sony dslr camera/ digital camera only? are others camera/dlsr from other brand lyk canon or nikon also hav this problem?

wow, memory card still very high price, and SD speed at 45mb/s seem not enough

you just have raise another question (its should be able to dostill when in video recording like 600D-i use before but the STILL image might not the Max MP size), my question is can we use remote control to start /stop video record

lwilliam, thanks for the offer but i am not really a fan of minolta color did tested a few 85 minolta, the color not really my type lo... like the bright contrasty feel from the CZ instead

Technically it should as the 20mm is a prime after all. Sharpness wise still can compare although it's a pretty old lens. you also gain the weight advantage as the Z is pretty darn heavy.

However, you are losing zoom capabilities, maybe better micro contrast and colours in the Z, SSM focusing and other stuff.

If you can live with that, by all means get the 20mm.

jimlim, one thing i've learnt is that not to judge too early, or as in your case, unless you have a hands on on the actual thing, its best to just let your opinions be neutral. If you have actually tested and doesnt fit your taste, no one can fault u, but its quite clear that you've not, and using images as your assumptions. i'd rather wait and see what suprises is in stored before saying anything. As the saying goes, its best to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
