woot not long ago I just upgrade to Gingerbread 2.3.4 XXKG5.....how come now it become 2.3.3

Official rom through kies in Malaysia is only KH2 which is a 2.3.3 rom

Since not rooted use mybackuppro to backup your
3rd party apps only. All data associated with the apps cannot be backup unless phone is rooted
This app also backup your contact, calendar, sms etc
There are 2 backup options

anyone using or used nillkin hard case for s2? any comments on it?

Read in xperia and sensation tnreads several users complain nilkin case breaks easily n seems to be main problem

my phone current version is:

Android version: 2.3.3
Baseband: I9100DXKF1
Kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKF1
Build number: GINGERBREAD.XWKF1

Is this up to date?


And when i connect my SGS2 to my iMac through the KIES...it shows "GT-I9100 does not support firmware upgrade", what does this mean? is this normal? coz i had root the fon and i worried this is because i rooted the fon improperly...



Maybe i flash into wrong kernel version? anyone have the link to download the original kernel version for malaysia SGS2? thank u...

Odin is not official. You can flash anything with odin if the rom supports it.

anyone face this prob after flashing litening rom ver 6.1..

cannot download from android market...

That is the local official version. It is not latest
It is korean poor english meaning no newer update availble
Unroot phone to recieve official update thro kies
Since rooted why bother. Just download latest from xda or samfirmware n use odin to flash

try replace the market n browser's apk and c?



but i rmb last time wat i saw is "your phone's firmware cannot be updated" or smtg like dat, not like wat his kies is showing

so i can download the I9100DXKH2 firmware from samfirmware and flash to my fon?

i think u can get the browser n market's apk from xda forum there, and replace it using root explorer/ es file explorer. first go to /system/app and backup your browser.apk and market.apk first, then copy the one u dl from xda forum n replace it here. then try n c izit still giv u fc or not. if still, then suggest u reflash again n dun restore ur browser+market's data when running tb restore.

After replacing you NEED TO FIX permission and restart.

Added on September 7, 2011, 3:26 pmFor market try clearing data and try again. Dunno about browser. But last time i use this rom do not have this issue. As always, my advice is to do clean wipe before flashing new rom.
