Hi,

After we installing an app or game from the market such as gameloft game, the game will download hundreds mb of data into the sdcard.

I wan to ask that, if i uninstall the game, will the data with hundreds mb in size that the game downloaded be deleted as well? or i need to manually go to the sdcard and delete the data using the file explorer?

Thank you.

No , the data remains on internal SD card. You have to manually delete it. Gameloft , most of the newer games if you reinstall it you will be prompted to redownload all the data even though is still on SD card. This is one of the control by them to discourage sharing/piracy of its data.

.....this is troublesome......is there an easier way to look for where is the data files located (the file path and etc.) instead of explore to the sdcard n search manually....? those data file belonging to those uninstalled app still remain in my phone just annoy me.... sad.gif

its very obvious, it will have a folder in /sdcard called Gameloft or GL or try check Games folder.

I know the gameloft data is easier to find..how about other data files for other app? Like talking tom, when i first install n open the app, it downloaded 20mb++ data, but i just couldnt find the data files...is there anyway to look for the file path to those data file related to particular app?

my phone current version is:

Android version: 2.3.3
Baseband: I9100DXKF1
Kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKF1
Build number: GINGERBREAD.XWKF1

Is this up to date?

And when i connect my SGS2 to my iMac through the KIES...it shows "GT-I9100 does not support firmware upgrade", what does this mean? is this normal? coz i had root the fon and i worried this is because i rooted the fon improperly...

Maybe i flash into wrong kernel version? anyone have the link to download the original kernel version for malaysia SGS2? thank u...

Unroot phone to recieve official update thro kies
