QUOTE(virgoguy @ Sep 7 2011, 03:37 PM) I dunno where you getting at but the ONLY official rom from Samsung for Galaxy S2 in Malaysia comes through kies. The latest is KH2 (2.3.3)Any other ROM whatsoever you flash through odin is not official for Galaxy S2 in Malaysia. It maybe official in some other country (or XDA) but not in Malaysia. |

Weird It is korean poor english meaning no newer update availble Unroot phone to recieve official update thro kies Since rooted why bother. I believe majority of the user are flashing it. |

QUOTE(virgoguy @ Sep 7 2011, 04:05 PM) Use the JIG - read page 1 accessory section post#8Also read post#6 on jig issues you need to know Simply if you flash n try to revert back to stock rom, remove traces of flashes if the tech want to void your warranty he can still do it. So once you embark on root/flash rom be mentally prepared warranty is void. If you get foc services than is a bonus. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 7 2011, 02:46 PM) Since not rooted use mybackuppro to backup your Thanks Uncle Benny...I'm using UNIFI currently...even that couldn't finish all the way through...I was thinking of downloading via PC first but dono how...or if it is possible or not.3rd party apps only. All data associated with the apps cannot be backup unless phone is rooted This app also backup your contact, calendar, sms etc There are 2 backup options Added on September 7, 2011, 2:50 pm Just find a wifi spot with good speed download. Gameloft data download is slower than others. Your download will resume when you get cutoff. Patience is all you need |
