QUOTE(antt00 @ Sep 7 2011, 03:41 PM) I dunno where you getting at but the ONLY official rom from Samsung for Galaxy S2 in Malaysia comes through kies. The latest is KH2 (2.3.3) I do get it from XDA. Does this flashing will void the phone warranty?Any other ROM whatsoever you flash through odin is not official for Galaxy S2 in Malaysia. It maybe official in some other country (or XDA) but not in Malaysia. |

QUOTE(Fallenangelz @ Sep 7 2011, 03:58 PM) hmm, u r nearly there d. few more questions n here will be another sea of flame soon. yes, flashing it without using kies(official software for firmware update) will void ur warranty, but who cares? even the technician oso wont care most of the time lol it is kinda slow to wait for kies official update. the default stock rom the more u explore the more u find the limitation there. I believe majority of the user are flashing it. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 8 2011, 10:26 AM) Most Europe based roms do not have built in Chinese language input support DXKH2(2.3.3) do not have Sim contact display compare to XXKG5(2.3.4)You can download from Market free app Google PinYin for Chinese input Download and flash Hong Kong roms ( can get at XDA thread by intratech) for Chinese language support. Do NOT use the China based roms as many users has reported failure flashing it DXKH2 is Msian latest rom ; it has built in Chinese language. It is still at 2.3.3 . WHY ? I'd say only Samsung know why only 2.3.3 is release not 2.3.4 |
