The DXKH2 is about 500mb and updating from Kies will usually takes longer. Download from samfirmware and flash thru Odin is faster.

Or you buy or pinjam a USB jig to reset the counter and get rid of the yellow triangle.

I just bought mine and got rid of the triangle after flashing speedmod thumbup.gif

You can google for Market Access and download the apk file to install on your phone. Or you can use Market Enabler which is available on the Market.

Market Access or Market Enabler requires root

Or you can use the Import/Export function if don't want to sync with gmail.

Just backup (contacts > menu > import/export > export to SD card) to a *.vcf file on your SD card. Then restore using the import from SD card whenever you update or flash new roms.

Been using this method since SGS1 days.

SMS and MMS can use SMS backup and restore from market (free).

I only use Titanium to restore data only. Appbrain to have a list of the apps installed.

That's why it is recommended to clear user data and cache before and after flashing thru recovery.

This will wipe all data.

Can. Seen my friends sending in chinese for the said both.

Also if you have updated your SGS2 to DXKF2, you can swype in chinese and also use the diopen keyboard.

Not sure about the price. That's for you to decide if you want to get the black now or wait for the white. But not sure when launching here.

Got a member, CCM, ordered the white sgs2 from Europe. Got pics of it in last couple of pages.
