Backup your original swype .... Uninstall it ... Download Sywpe installer beta and select chinese/english keyboard ...... Unless there is a newer method , this is the method widely use even for other languages

Go market download Google Pinyin..
Press and hold the place that u want to type to choose input method laugh.gif
If there doesn't have Google Pinyin, go to Setting > Languague and Keyboard > Tick Google Pinyin..

i just installed swiftkey x and widgetsoid2.x....really awesome
especially the disable/enable lock...too fantastic to be real cuz im abit dreadful of the frequent pattern lock d every time it screens out n the unlock/screen lock widgetsoid2.x just bring alot of pleasantry

i like swype it was fun but it rly gets the SP all prints...
but the swyping efficiency dpds on my finger 'condition' like that so abit ofa turn-off for me

i like the light theme of swiftkey x that mimics htc cum apple's qwerty which i adored so much but nvr get the chance to use them.
i feel that they r slightly bigger than the stock qwerty which is a really good thing

One thing I notice about Swype (I am using 3.25 Beta) is that if you are using the English + Chinese version, even though if you are only using English (never select Chinese at all) it still consider the whole SMS to be in unicode (is this correct?) and only have 70 words at one SMS. A normal English SMS should have 160 words isn't?

How to solve this ah?

I could never swype as quickly as I could tap. Prolly never got used to it.

Sticking with Smart KeyPro for now, with multiling as backup - the only two I know of with Japanese input options (SKP is better at English and has more options, MLK is better in Jap but isn't as customizable/accurate in normal typing).

Ugh, such a slow day in SGS2land, no new releases of Anything. Sigh.

On a different note, the self healing thingy on the Estoc+ seems to really work, kinda. At least on microscratches. Wonder how long it'll last though.

Hi, I have a question,

If I buy the phone through Digi's plan (RM 13xx for 2 years) is it the sim card that is locked or the phone? Will it still work if I insert a non-Digi sim card? I will be studying overseas in a few days time and I'm planning to buy and bring the phone over there.

Nope, all Malaysian sets must be sold unlocked by law.

So no worries mate, though you'll still be under contract unless you can have someone take over.

To UK. Amazon.uk is selling the phone for £400+. It'll probably be a little more expensive after conversion.

I see, thanks! My father was planning to pass his iPhone4 (yuck) to me and get a new one through the Digi plan.
