Because you have included in similar time of gaming. I am a moderate user as I never play high end games on my phone. Did some testing on gameloft and these will indeed burn up battery. Only game i play once a while, is while waiting at airport or on the bus trip : scrabble which is just a low end game which does not need much power

Guys, here is my battery usage. Unplug my phone at 130am.. 100% charged. now left 54%. the phone just idle.. Can anyone comment on this? is battery consumption too heavy? is background apps running too many?

Just test yourself and assess it yourself . Simply because your NEEDS is different from others
Do a android backup of your rom before flash. Just restore it back from recovery if you are not happy with the new rom. You will get back exactly where ypu left off - maybe only some widgets on homescreen just need to reset. Nothing to lose but more to gain as you get a chance to test it and experience the difference
Ask 10 users, you will get different opinions - you will get more confused

This is bad - you are on GPS with maps running - these sure will eatup a lot of battery life. Take away Maps, over 10 hours most should be about 30 %

actually it also depends on your brightness settings.. screen usually takes the bulk of the power consumption if not idling..

if you are on auto brightness and u play under direct sunlight or bright places.. confirm makan more battery one..
