After rooting, can we decide what apps need to be started during phone startup in background? Like what we are doing in Windows, we can configure which apps (program) startup?

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Sep 5 2011, 09:17 PM) Refer to page 1 about which apps is safe to be removed. Certain app especially the system apps are needed for the phone to work properly. Safe way is to freeze the app and see if it distrupt your phone system or not. Thanks for ur prompt reply.. Another question.. after i use task killer to kill all those unwanted apps, i found out that some of them are startup by themselves.. is there any way to stop them from startup? Like viber, maps... |

You must be most unlucky guy in the world if this happen . And if u brick go buy 4d, sure strike lah. to tell u all, i'm always the unlucky one~~ =) pray for me.. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 12 2011, 11:41 AM) This is bad - you are on GPS with maps running - these sure will eatup a lot of battery life. Take away Maps, over 10 hours most should be about 30 % I used the map last night and i have quit from it.. but it stil run in background.. what can i do to totally eliminate it when i'm not using it? |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Sep 14 2011, 04:32 PM) Awesome... Can i under clock in miui rom? what apps u use to clock it?Now cracking 9h with 4h screen time, heavy surfing and SocialHub/Friendster, Twitter, Viber, Whatsapp, RSS and Email notifications (amongst others) running. Always on 3G too (never on WiFi). 31% left on the momax. Very nice, and it should be able to reach 10hr mark before dying. Running VR2.4.2 + Ninpo's 2.1.3 with self modded all black theme, running 1000-200 with minimal underclocking. No tasker or JD or GreenPower or anything. Happy enough. Plus I have a spare momax ready and charged close by. Could've been better but batt life felt so good I messed around with a live wallie for about an hour. Bad move, as batt nosedived on standby after that, so I went back to my nice static image lol. |
