alza SR is a strip down model and not a facelift.
price is cheaper than standard variant by rm2490 for each variant
some feature such as rear viper, rear speaker, map light, luggage lamp , chrome grill are omitted from SR version. auto version of SR lack parking brake also,it will only have normal handbrake like the one in manual alza.

THis car will be introduce tomorrow !

Well, if the reduction is in the range of RM2,500, the whole car won't be below RM40k isn't it. Still $uck

Anyhow, it won't be great reviews... A car with known issues, and now with no safety features...? What are the P2 board of directors doing...? They should vote to oust Aminar Rashid Salleh out of his CEO tenure for taking P2 and its customers to hell with this death ride...

May I know for Alza (Auto), have Transmission Filter or not ?

My friends advise me to change it in order to maintain the car better.
So I went Perodua Service Center, I ask them to change the Transmission Filter,
they told me, Alza (Auto) Transmission Filter cannot be CHANGE one.

Is it true ?
I thought all Auto car got Transmission Filter ?

If got, normally how much is it ? Can I change at other workshop without Void the car warranty ?

Please advise me. notworthy.gif
Thanks.

Funny this P2. I thought the Gomen is moving forward in implementing safety in passenger car - airbag, rear seat belt, etc. But this P2 is doing the opposite - selling a "coffin-on-wheels" to the mass!

Hmm... some bad experience recently. I have been using Esso at Bdr Baru Sg Buloh, the one near HLB and P2. And it seems their storage tank has a lot of water vapour in it. After pump, when I drive the car starts to jerk every now and then. But not like very often. And when I drive the old van, it is even more obvious, cos the old car carburator is in worst condition. Anyway... long story short, if I pump at another station, no such problem. Headache la.

Now that you mentioned it, I assume your car jerks while in motion... Does it jerk when it's stationary with the air-cond turned on...? I know mine does, and initially I started to suspect either spark plugs or fuel filter issue, worse case scenario air-cond compressor screws up... I'm a loyal patron of Esso BRP near HLB and DMM P2... Esso Bandar Baru is the one outside facing the Kuala Selangor road... Will try BHP to see if the problems go away, but I still have 2 to 3 more rounds of Smiles point to redeem... doh.gif

I always pump at the Esso BRP (not Bdr Baru). Jerks while in motion... the worst experience, while going forward after the traffic light, it jerked so hard that the engine almost died. Luckily no one smash me from behind. And if I were the last vehicle to pass the traffic light? Surely another vehicle would come and knock me out of the way. All together from jerking to gaining control of the car again is easily 3-4 seconds. Lots could happen in that period.

Went to the mechanics, they say they have the same problem too. So they have long switched to others. So today I started using Shell, RM20. For testing first.

Added on February 10, 2012, 8:03 pmIt does not jerk while in stationary. But when the engine gets too hot, then it will jerk a little while in stationary. Occasionally it will die, if the aircon is on. But if the air outside is cold enough, this would not happen. Or, if I switch the aircon off. However, this I believe has nothing to do with water vapour in the petrol I pump.

Mine jerks at stationary when the air-cond is turned on, and also jerks noticeably on even roads. There are times that it jerks when picking up speed while in motion, feels like a lost of power that I had to release the gas pedal before stepping on it again.

I never had this problem until immediately after my 3rd service when I started using iridium spark plugs. Sent back to diagnose the problem 3 months ago when they repaired my steering rack, but they cannot produce the problem...
