I still prefer wobbly over stiff suspension, got spoilt by my old Camry... But does it add comfort when going over uneven roads...? You mentioned stiff, so I imagine it's worse than it was before as added stiffness means less absorption on uneven roads or those super narrow speed breakers (bumpers)...
*
Comfort on uneven road like before, not wobble over bumpers after install. Speeding and cornering is now more stable.

I believe the impact on uneven roads/speed breakers was already absorbed by the Continental CC5 tongue.gif previously with Silverstone M5, it was like batu.

Maybe I am over optimistic, but I am happy with this slight comfort which only cost RM80 tongue.gif

Ok here's my personal review:

RM80 with postage to door step

Alza feels more stiff especially over bumper.

Original condition - When over bumper at fast speed, the car will bounce few times before it is stable again
With coil spring buffer - When over bumper at fast speed, the car will back to stable almost immediately

Overall experience - the car not so wobble, a cheap add on for slight comfort and driving experience. As now haven't try to full load the car yet with 7 people, but it looks promising.

Recommendation - Need to install it properly especially the buffer lining to the spring, otherwise the rubber might go into bad shape or have sound.
*
So you DIY or pay for installation ?

got alza 2 days ago.
was worried esp those posts in v1 about how bad alza was.
thot just drop some input esp for potential buyers.

2012 model (shown on reg card as 2012)

1. move P to R, gearbox no jerk, pretty smooth.
2. no wind sound on side windows cruising on highway ~110km/h
3. no rattle sound in car (town/highway)
- maybe rattling will come after a while
4. noisy silverstone M5 tyres
5. surprisingly pretty quiet inside (for my standard, was using Myvi)
- more quiet after change to continental CC5
6. steering no sound when full turn left and right
7. heavy rain on highway, but notice rain drop sound hit on front windscreen louder than on roof
- didn' t feel like "atap zink", raindrop sound feels normal like Myvi roof
8. Stone hit on wheel arch or under car floor is very loud but can live with it.
- not that stone always hit under car, only on stony road or newly tar road.
9. aircond compressor on/off, feels alrite at the moment, need more time to confirm

Went tyre shop immediately after drove out P2.
4 biji CC5 RM840,
trade in 4 biji M5 RM400 (lazy drive around bargain, only ask 2 shops)

front & rear tyre treatment -icecube. <-- treatment for what purpose ??

F1-Z double spin fan & Knn filter-myalza.com ringgo <-- Bro, u better make sure the pipe is long enough. SC will void your warranty if the air intake pipe shorter than original. Info from MAOC member libertyemperor. He show his F1-Z and ask the SC manager, not sure Balakong or Puchong branch.

yup wheel arch treatment, still can hear noise from the tyres but at acceptable level when going through NKVE hahaha. icecube cost at about 400, the process take about 4-5hours. desmond charge you about 1000 for package(including tyres treatment)-gold package,i think.

this pipe is longer, got extension, as previously shorter pipe is above the engine and will generate hot air. which is not good. If worried about warranty, before going to perodua, just remove the filter and f1-z as removing them is very2 easy as well as installing them.

both of them is using stp product for soundproofing and very2 expensive especially if decided to do stp on 3m door wind treatment+hood+floor+firewall+roof+5 door+tyres treatment. i think probably can reach 3000 not including autofoam which cost you from 1000~1300. If have friend, better try to DIY for cheaper price, but STP product doesn't come cheap although its DIY and not all area using the same stp as stp also got varieties. sweat.gif i'm also trying to learn as well rclxub.gif

I've checked icecube's threads, his 400 bucks treatment apparently does not involve entirely on STP Mastic. He either mixed it or used entirely his in-house brand. His full Mastic treatment has a separate thread which never mention the price, of which I would assume a lot more expensive (probably comparable to Desmond's) since he mentioned that his 400 bucks treatment is a cheaper solution.

Desmond is charging RM 900 for the STP Mastic treatment.

I would love to DIY to save cost, sadly I'm not the DIY type... and everytime I wanna DIY, just tarak kaki lar...

I've not done any wheel arch treatment other than the earlier White Magic treatment that Desmond offered. I'm already enjoying the acceptable noise level on NKVE concrete pavement as a result of the combined Autofoam and White Magic... Other than that, other usual Malaysian-styled coarse roads really get on my nerves even with my new Michelin PS3... Or maybe I'm just picky...

well, i tought michelin PS3 is very2 good as the noise is lower? in that case, nothing much can be done about that, the most noise pollution for me right now, are coming from bellow(tyres). i still use silverstone M5 at 36000km usage. i dunno if hood+firewall and floor can help that much. we need person which has done complete set up on soundproof in his alza to reviews. thumbup.gif
